Sokka the 26th - [Action]

[It's a busy couple of days at the smithy for Sokka. Aside from the huge playground order, which is keeping the place running all day long, he has a few other projects to work on. His own private supply of Batarangs (the boy has gotta have a hobby or twenty), Smoker's Jitte, and hey, he even finished off that saw he was supposed to finish a long time ago for Edward's client, the Medic. It's amazing how much work a guy can get done when he doesn't want to talk to Raphael, because he's a jerk, and Winry because of soap opera-esque brooding. Well, Edward, at least Sokka still has you, you freakish mountain of a teenage boy.

He'll be home later for awhile after work, but then he'll be heading to the roof of the house. Why? Because it's time he got rid of that spotlight with the Batman symbol on it before it causes any unwelcome attention. Or at least, he needs to get the metal bat piece on there off. Too bad it's welded there. All that work to pry it off might cause him to accidentally turn the thing on a few times and illuminate a certain emblem in the sky. Oops?

Naturally of course, feel free to get up in Sokka's business at any point in the day. He also has his journal open, so he'll certainly speak up if his name is mentioned.]

[Now that Winry has physically dragged him into the smithy, Don has suddenly found the time and inclination to go there under his own power. He wanders in, makes for the pile of playground-related equipment, and stares at it, mumbling to himself.]

[Eventually Sokka notices that the turtle over there isn't the one that is always scowling. Hey Donnie, about time he met you in person.]

[Eventually Sokka will notice that. Not as soon as she might have liked, but when he does, he's suspicious of a trap. So when he does show up, he's fully armed, with his hand near his knife in case something is up.]

*There is rustling nearby, and eventually, silently, Paru emerges from the cover of a bush. She hasn't said anything yet, and she looks like she's about ready to just run away.*

[Oh Azula, never threaten a guy with a power welder in his hand. He pulls back his goggles to glare at her.]

Another personal visit? Most girls wait for the guy to make the next move.

_{[She examined her nails, looking bored. Really, teasing Sokka probably kept her sane. She kept thinking about this future and how Ty Lee and Mai had - would... would betray her. It was starting to eat at her. But she wouldn't break.]}

[...A Bat-Signal? This could well be a trap, given how well people here seem to know about him. But in the event that it isn't, and someone genuinely needs help, Batman will scope out the location. Seems like one kid up there... one who works at the smithy, messing with it. Doesn't look like he's in trouble, and he sees no sign of an ambush. He genuinely looks alone up there.

Quietly and stealthily, Batman will get atop the roof of the house and stand several feet behind Sokka as he fiddles with the Bat-Signal. He'll just be standing there, waiting, cape wreathed around his body so he's little more than silhouette.]

[Sokka doesn't seem to notice at all as he he tries as hard as he can to pry the piece of metal off the spotlight. It doesn't seem to be budging at all and he loses his grip and the metal bar ends up going flying behind.]

[Batman simply steps out of the way of the bar as it goes clattering to the ground nearby him. Otherwise he doesn't make any noise. Turn around, Sokka. He dares you.]

[Sometime around when Katara is enjoying her nice, relaxing, favorite-time-of-day evening shower... a banging starts. ...and keeps going. And going. First she attempts to ignore it. She even goes to lie down. But. It doesn't. Stop. She throws on her outer tunic and steps outside.]

Sokka! What are you doing up there at this hour!

[Huh, who the heck is out at this time of night? ... crap, it's Katara. He wouldn't have had to do this if not for all the other stuff that came up...]

[Since Sokka's spending so much time in the smithy today, he'll no doubt run into Edward, since he's been there every day working on the ridiculously intricate details of a new, lighter suit of armor that Sigmund requested. It's been a work-in-progress for a while now, but progress is fairly steady.

He can find the freakish mountain of a teenage boy at the front desk that morning (or whenever he shows up), scraping oh-so-delicately at the carvings of the back plate.]

[That's certainly more elegant than anything Sokka has worked on before. He's made armor before, but that kind of detail seemed like a waste of effort. Although he was certainly impressed.]
