[It's a busy couple of days at the smithy for Sokka. Aside from the huge playground order, which is keeping the place running all day long, he has a few other projects to work on. His own private supply of Batarangs (the boy has gotta have a hobby or twenty), Smoker's Jitte, and hey, he even finished off that saw he was supposed to finish a long time ago for Edward's client, the Medic. It's amazing how much work a guy can get done when he doesn't want to talk to Raphael, because he's a jerk, and Winry because of soap opera-esque brooding. Well, Edward, at least Sokka still has you, you freakish mountain of a teenage boy.

He'll be home later for awhile after work, but then he'll be heading to the roof of the house. Why? Because it's time he got rid of that spotlight with the Batman symbol on it before it causes any unwelcome attention. Or at least, he needs to get the metal bat piece on there off. Too bad it's welded there. All that work to pry it off might cause him to accidentally turn the thing on a few times and illuminate a certain emblem in the sky. Oops?

Naturally of course, feel free to get up in Sokka's business at any point in the day. He also has his journal open, so he'll certainly speak up if his name is mentioned.]

Yeah I do. It's the best way for me to make sure the food is safe to eat.

I've survived six years on my sister's cooking. I seem to be doing fine.

... we grew up in a place plants don't grow that often. If we didn't eat meat, we didn't eat anything.

Well I guess that can be an excuse. Still it's not good to always eat meat only.

Fortunately I don't. I eat all kinds of things, you know. Meat is just my favorite.

I can't even remember the last time I ate meat. It's been so many years.

No meat for that long!? You've got to have some again!

Being dead meant I didn't need to eat. I just pretended to be hungry and took people's money when they offered it.

Well yeah, just not meat. I mostly eat a lot of sweets and fruits.

Well that's not healthy at all. You need meat in your diet.

Actually most of the sweets I have are from soft drinks, like soda. But I only have a can of it a day. [Not that it's healthy, but it could be worse!]

Well meat, bread, and vegetables are all very important, you know.

Well of course I eat grains, like cereal and bread. But I hate vegetables - none of them are as sweet tasting as fruits.

No meat and no vegetables. Clearly you shouldn't be allowed to cook for yourself.

At least I try to cook - you just push all the work on your poor sister. Absolutely cruel!

Not that you deserve a correctly pronounced name for your cruel actions against your sister. She slaves over a stove for your precious meat and you just devour it!
