Sokka the 64th - [ Action/Video]

[Well, there it stands in all its glory. Sokka has the journal camera facing away from him, showing off his new boat, that looks like this (or like this when full mast), sitting out in the water. For a lack of other vessels, two canoes are hoisted and secured on either side, those being the Aila and Maza respectively. On both sides of the ship is painted something like this (only less lazy and technically saying '海洋精神' but this is Luceti okay). After getting a good view of the waves crashing on it, Sokka turns the journal back around to himself.]

So there it is, The Ocean Spirit, it's finally finished. All thanks to Brave Vesperia and other people. So... yeah, thanks everyone. Good job. We'll have its maiden voyage soon. Speaking of which - Hey Toph, you mind coming out here and making a dock? It would be... well, a lot more convenient.

Anybody who wants to come out and check it out, just use the teleporter in the barracks. I'll be out here on the beach for awhile.

[END transmission. He'll be there for most of the day, until the evening when he heads home for the usual dinner time.]

[Besides, he's been looking for a hat for over a year now. It's an excuse to shop and try on funny hats. It would defeat the point to actually take one home.]

If I've learned anything since turning up in Luceti? It's that hats are serious business. Or something. I don't know.

[ she directs their little appointment towards the clothing store. ]

[Sure, this one has more variety... and he kinds of clothes that Sokka would actually wear. But Shiki's store has... well, it has stuff, definitely.]

Have you ever heard of saving the best for last, Sokka? There's an art, to shopping. You don't go to the cream of the crop first.

[Prooobably should've told Hiccup he'd be gone longer. Oops.]

...Are you sure? I can revise my killer strategy if there's some kind of conflict or you really just hate the first shop?

Oh no, I use this shop all the time. The blue Water Tribe tunic isn't exactly something Shiki makes. [Well, he suggested it for a product line, but he hadn't seen anything come from that.]

...I like to give it a once over. Y'know, in case an old favourite pair of shoes turns up. They never do, though.

[Favorite? Like she has more than one pair?]

I kind of do the same thing. Though I guess anything else that showed up would sort of... well, I'm a bit taller than I was when I first showed up. [And he's outgrown anything he arrived with. Bit awkward, that.]

...Lucky you. Some days? I feel shorter.

[He makes a guilty face. He's gained an inch or two since he first met Buffy, too. That probably doesn't help.]

[He follows on in, now realizing that there are a lot of clothes in here and wondering if this was a good idea. When he shops, he likes weapons and cool accessories. Not so much clothes.]

[ on the plus side? buffy is a fairly efficient shopper. she knows what she wants or doesn't want from very early on -- she can breeze through a rack rather quickly. ]

Maybe. It's hard to say. [ after all, dawn isn't really the age they've ascribed to her. not by either reckoning. she was more like billions of billions of years old. or possibly five. ]

[Hard to say? He's not known any girl to grow beyond that, except sideways. But whatever, he starts skimming the clothes, looking a bit disinterested.]

What kind of dress do you want anyway?

I'm not sure. Something that works with the wolf tail and is adventurous. Not quite... goofy. And not too fancy either. It's gotta be something reliable.
