Sokka the 64th - [ Action/Video]

[Well, there it stands in all its glory. Sokka has the journal camera facing away from him, showing off his new boat, that looks like this (or like this when full mast), sitting out in the water. For a lack of other vessels, two canoes are hoisted and secured on either side, those being the Aila and Maza respectively. On both sides of the ship is painted something like this (only less lazy and technically saying '海洋精神' but this is Luceti okay). After getting a good view of the waves crashing on it, Sokka turns the journal back around to himself.]

So there it is, The Ocean Spirit, it's finally finished. All thanks to Brave Vesperia and other people. So... yeah, thanks everyone. Good job. We'll have its maiden voyage soon. Speaking of which - Hey Toph, you mind coming out here and making a dock? It would be... well, a lot more convenient.

Anybody who wants to come out and check it out, just use the teleporter in the barracks. I'll be out here on the beach for awhile.

[END transmission. He'll be there for most of the day, until the evening when he heads home for the usual dinner time.]

[He considers black, but that seems too morbid for a birthday affair. He considers for a bit, then moves down several dresses and turns around with this with a thoughtful expression. Although several feet from her, he holds it away from himself as if trying to picture Buffy in it.]

[ she takes a moment to consider the article before smiling. ]

Take your time, I'll wait here. [Handing it over then finding a nice spot to lean. Incidentally, it's just her size. Which she's never told him before.]

[ it doesn't take her long. soon, she is whirling out from behind the curtain with a rather pleased-as-punch smile on her face. ]

[ she frees her hair from where it was caught under the halter top ties of the dress and eyes herself up in the mirror. a little critical but mostly happy. ]

Ever consider a career as a personal shopper? I mean, with lucky guesses like that...

[He's glad she's busy with the mirror because he's turning away to hide his red cheeks. He can't believe he actually did that.]

[ it's her first public appearance as the girl who owns up to dating jack sparrow and no longer tries to keep it a secret. it might as well be a ceremony.

[ neither of them would want to figure out which is worse; they're both terrible concepts. ]

Their unmatchiness is a kind of matching, Sokka. You'll see.

[ she reaches for one of the shoes and hops on one foot while she wedges it on. ]

[He'll just watch with casual disinterest, since he has little else to do.]

I don't know how you stay balanced on those things.

Cheerleaders have excellent balance. And so do ex-cheerleaders.

Well whatever cheerleaders are, I don't see how they'd be able to fight in them.

...Well, they're not made for fighting.

[ she tugs the second one on. she was going to grab sokka's shoulder for balance but decides to do it all on her own just to prove a point. ] But the element of surprise sure is nice for me.

[That is an impressive feat. He'd probably fall over getting the first one on. Assuming he was to ever try one on. Which he won't.]

They'd be even more surprising if the heels were really sharp.

...I've been known to stake a vamp with a heel. And I've also been known to try and stake a vamp with a heel only to find that it was cheap plastic imitation wood. Damn knock-offs.

Also? You don't want to get kicked in the face with one of these.
