Sokka the 64th - [ Action/Video]

[Well, there it stands in all its glory. Sokka has the journal camera facing away from him, showing off his new boat, that looks like this (or like this when full mast), sitting out in the water. For a lack of other vessels, two canoes are hoisted and secured on either side, those being the Aila and Maza respectively. On both sides of the ship is painted something like this (only less lazy and technically saying '海洋精神' but this is Luceti okay). After getting a good view of the waves crashing on it, Sokka turns the journal back around to himself.]

So there it is, The Ocean Spirit, it's finally finished. All thanks to Brave Vesperia and other people. So... yeah, thanks everyone. Good job. We'll have its maiden voyage soon. Speaking of which - Hey Toph, you mind coming out here and making a dock? It would be... well, a lot more convenient.

Anybody who wants to come out and check it out, just use the teleporter in the barracks. I'll be out here on the beach for awhile.

[END transmission. He'll be there for most of the day, until the evening when he heads home for the usual dinner time.]

((ooc: To everyone who volunteered their characters for this, including BV people... sorry I didn't get this more organized oocly. In any case, feel free to assume any tasks your characters might have done during the construction. It was a group effort!))

[Oh, this is similar to what Law wears. It's a bit bright and colorful for his tastes, but he does try it on, seeming somewhat satisfied with it.]

I've still got another five months to go before I hit two years.

[ and she doesn't know how to feel about that so she decides to smirk at the beanie instead. ] You look like a hippie.

[Good catch. Talking about that isn't all that great for him either.]

Hippie? I though it had more of a pirate look.

I was thinking pirate more like- oh!

[Nice as the beanie is, he's found a BEAUTIFUL hat. He finds an old, beat up fisherman's hat with bits of lure attached around the brim. He quickly puts it on and beams as he looks at himself in the mirror.]

It's perfect!

...Don't you think it's kinda -- y'know -- hokey?

Are you kidding? Look! I can keep hooks and other stuff in it! [It's BEAUTIFUL and he is beaming at himself in the mirror.]

...That's what pockets are for.

[ but she's SMILING. so she can't be feeling too disparaging of his hat choice. ]

I have other stuff in my pockets already. [Seriously you have no idea how much junk he keeps on him...]

Well, I guess I'm done. So your turn?

[ she slings a pair of black pumps over her shoulder and heads for the door; to shiki's! ]

Like a dress? You wanted a dress, I thought.

[Following and forgetting they had another clothing store to go to.]

Oh. Right. Just usual stuff. Food, knives, tools, bits of paper, that kind of stuff.

[ she makes a clear line for shiki's. ]

What? Planning to be besieged with nothing but yourself some day?

[ sadly, she realizes, that could be something that actually happens. ]

It's Luceti. It could happen.

[And frankly being surrounded by so many powerful people, who make even benders look like wimps, makes him want to be extra prepared. Luceti is not a nice place to live if you're normal.]

[ she plucks a little red dress from a shelf and holds it up against herself. wrinkling her nose. ]

Like I said, nothing too flash... [ this is clearly the reason she rejects this first option. ] Don't want to upstage Dawnie.

Right, too bright. Especially if you don't wanna draw attention to yourself.

[He's going to pluck a dress out. His first instinct is to go with something blue. There's no telling how this got here. Maybe something that was supposed to be in the clothing store.]
