Sokka the 24th - [Action]

[Today Sokka has excused himself from work, because really, Edward is a frigging beast and he's not too happy about the new couch just yet, so hanging out here with nothing to do is kind of pointless. So today he's working hard on one of his other, more important projects. Namely, building a few more canoes, now that he's determined the prototype to be perfectly safe. So Sokka is over beside House 56 (facing House 57 and the road to the barracks), sawing the wood for the second canoe in his 'fleet'.

If you're one of the people who agreed to help him, feel free to already be there doing so. Or if you just happen to be out and about in this obscure part of Luceti, feel free to gawk.]

[Well, Sokka reaches into his shirt and pulls out his blueprints and looks over it. Hmm, yes, yes. Ah. Right. Of course, that. He holds them out in front of Hugo as he stands behind and above Hugo. He points to his many complicated (and poorly drawn) diagrams of what he plans on doing. One of them includes a wind up sail, seats that stretch out into diving boards, and what looks to be a motor for his boat.

But Sokka just points to the bench seats in the picture.]

I haven't started on the seats yet. They'll need to be measured for the right size. And they need hinges in the right spot, so we can store stuff beneath them. Maybe some kind of locking mechanism too, so stuff doesn't spill out if the boat tips over.

That's what I like to hear! [Have a manly slap on the back as Sokka tucks his blueprints back under his shirt.]

Soda? [Aila's obsession, wasn't it? She never seemed to stop mentioning it.] Sure, I don't mind.

[And Sokka ducks inside. Soda, soda, soda. Ah, here we go.]

[It sure is some boat, isn't it? Right now only the frame for it is really finished. There's still a lot left to go.

Sokka will return shortly with two orange sodas. He hands one to Hugo and stands beside him, admiring his workmanship.] Yup. The number two in the fleet. Gonna have to pick out a real good name for her.

I named it the Yue. [Distant look in his eye... drowned out by chugging soda.]

My first girlfriend. She turned into the Moon.

[He glances back at the unfinished canoe.] This one will still need a name. Any ideas?

[He looks at the boat for a moment.] It depends. It should be someone important to you, shouldn't it?

Maybe I could name it Momo.
