Sokka the 17th - [Voice/Action]

[So after going around breaking hearts and fighting evil demons, Sokka has found a new hobby to get his mind off of how annoying Luceti can be. That hobby? Cooking!

Surprisingly enough, despite the fact he's used the smithy as his personal kitchen for the past few days, Sokka has managed to complete a batch of eel jerky (or rather, a dish of mán xiāng consisting of salt cured eel) that actually doesn't taste absolutely horrible. It's nothing exceptional, but it is rather tasty. He's set out a plate of the stuff in the smithy, along with some vinegar bowl in a display that looks nowhere near as nice as this picture. At the very least it looks edible. Anyone who for whatever reason decides to drop by the smithy today are more than welcome to try some of Sokka's latest cooking experiment. Otherwise he's going to be inviting people over the journal.]

Hey Sanji, Brook! I finished the eel jerky I told you about. If you want to drop by you can have some. Anyone else who wants some can drop by too, but it probably won't last long if everyone does, though.

Well, they've never said anything. But in that fight with Aku, it wasn't hard to see that there wasn't much I could do to contribute.

You know where I come from, strategists are much more prized than mages and fighters, right?

Maybe I should be studying strategy, then.

Hah! Ask a Silverberg, I'm sure they'll be helpful. And love taking on pupils.

But you know, blond hair is prized where I come from, too.

You mean like Caesar Silverberg? ... or maybe I should go with the other guy.

Nobody has blond hair where I'm from.

I do. They're very famous. I guess they haven't been telling everyone.

How do you get anything done?

Do they have any practical experience?

Somehow we manage.

I'd say so. But I don't want a reputation for gossip.

But the point is, what people think is most important isn't always what's most important. You're very intelligent, Sokka, and that's rarer than you maybe know. It's also something that you're born with, something that some people will never be able to learn.

[That really means a lot to Sokka. Granted, he's also trying to work out in his head whether or not Nash is being straight with him here or just being his typical slippery self.]

I suppose so. By the way, are the Silverbergs actually from your world?

Yes. I even pretended to be one, once.

I'm not sure they know.

I won't tell them if you don't.

So do you know Hugo too?

I actually would't mind. As long as I was there to see their reaction.

Maybe you could tell them through the suggestion box. Although you'd have to be there when they check it.
