Sokka the 1st | [Voice/Action]

[Sokka is still sleeping comfortably, thanks in a large part to having arrived inside of a nice warm house. That is, he's sleeping on the floor of House 2 and somehow both snoring and drooling on his open journal. His usual clothes, which were nicely folded around him, have been unconsciously snatched at and thrown on top of him as a makeshift blanket. Naturally all that snoring is being transmitted by voice, as is a few other words...]

Hmmm... stop Momo... that's... vegetables!?

I doubt she'll turn up. And if she does, you have my word, I won't inform her of your existence.

So, are you going to try and stab me, or what?

Right here? Well, if you insist...

I don't! It was your idea.

[Sokka draws his sword anyways] No time like the present, right?

[He does the same.] That's what some people say.

[Sokka attacks first, swinging at Nash's right.]

[Nash parries, but doesn't follow through with a strike of his own. He barely seems to assume a stance, honestly, but his face tenses up. ]

[Although annoyed at the notion Nash might just be testing him, Sokka strikes again, this time going for the left.]

[Really, he just wants to see how long it will take for Sokka to figure it out! His shoulder is still sore, he's only using one sword, and he wasn't lying about being old— a part of him just wants to see how long he can keep parrying. Which would be at least once more. ]

[Irritated, Sokka strikes yet again, this time aiming higher at Nash's shoulder.]

Ow! [Nash rubs his shoulder for a bit, and makes a face. He doesn't seem that annoyed, though. Or that stressed. He's annoying like that.]

[markofthewise]

[Sokka holds back and fixes Nash with a quizzical stare.] Are you even trying?

[action]

I'm always trying. See, my missus taught me that, too.

Alright... [This time Sokka is the one that assumes a stance, but doesn't strike.]

[He's clever! Nash throws the sword from one hand to the other, and does a kind of flashy twirl. His first strike, though, is pretty feeble, but his next is stronger, and so on.]

[Sokka is now on the defensive, but he seems to be able to parry most of the blows without too much trouble. But he's quickly approaching the limits of his talents. He does manage a counter at one point, though.]
