Sokka the 82nd - [Action]

When Sokka woke up in the smithy, he was, to say the least, concerned. He had apparently died and gone to weapon heaven. And then of course, there was some horrible saber-toothed moose lion on the floor next to him. Feeling rather panicked, Sokka scooped up his boomerang (and the awesome looking sword next to it) and snuck out of the smithy without waking it up. Upon examining the boomerang, he noted it was strange how it had a few extra notches and scratches to it, like it had seen some rough times. That worried him.

The town proved even more mind blowing. It was huge. Buildings raising up beyond what he could imagine and there were so many people and houses. And not a single inch of snow. In fact, he felt rather hot and he immediately had to shed his parka. He felt lost and confused and was worried about where the rest of his tribe was. Where was Katara? Or Gran-Gran? He needed to find them. And thus he began to explore town, from one shop and house to another. Sneakily.

At some point, Momo comes landing on his shoulder. A nice lemur. A nice delicious lemur. Sokka easily catches it (since it doesn't resist).

"Mmm. Hello meat. You're just in time for lunch!"

And so with lemur in tow, Sokka made a short stop in the woods, making ready to start a fire and cook a lemur. It would be wise to stop him. Otherwise, he'll be searching the town for people from his tribe and you know, a reason for why he has wings now.

Oh. You're an airbender, huh? [Well that's just cute. He shrugs and holds out the lemur.] Fine. You can have your cat monkey. Please, just don't airbend at me.

[breezing]

He's a flying lemur. [ She holds out her arms for Momo to jump into, though. ] ...And I'm an air nomad, yep. But my Gran Gran was from the Southern Water Tribe.

I'm Ikki. Do you want me to show you to the store? They have jerky and stuff. And chocolate and soda.

[swordbends]

[Well. She's cute. Annoying, but cute.]

... jerky, huh? [He looks at the woods and HOLY SHIT A RABBIT JUST JUMPED OUT.] Um. Yeah. Jerky? Sounds great.

[THESE WOODS ARE WEIRD.]

[breezing]

Okay. Come this way, then. [ She will reach over and grab his hand to tow him along, so that he comes with. ] We can get something for Soren and Momo, too.

[ ...Though Soren's just circling overhead, and not near enough to the ground to be immediately obvious, she still references him. ]

And you can come back to our house to stay if you want, tonight. We have lots of extra rooms and a slide and a pool and a trampoline I got for my birthday and there's a hot tub on the boys' floor and stuff. So it's a nice place to be. No one else will mind, as long as you promise not to try to eat anyone else in our family.

[ Otherwise she guesses she can...find him a place to stay elsewhere. What does one do with one's strangely scrawny great-uncle. ]

... wow, your parents must be rich.

[He just sort of. Follows along. Suspicious of that squirrel in a tree, because of its freakish appearance. In fact, he's finding himself increasingly uncomfortable now that he's no longer focused on food.]

I can't really stay anyway. I gotta get back to my tribe.

[breezing]

Not really. My Uncle's the one who got all the stuff for the house. He's really cool, but he's not here right now, so you can't meet him.

[ EVER. Because of obvious reasons she's not going to even bother explaining. ]

This is Luceti, and there's a barrier around it. You're not gonna be able to leave here - although the barrier's further out, you probably shouldn't go out in the woods and stuff alone. My Uncle and Gran Gran and Grandpa all say there are bears and stuff out there, so I don't go here alone. I only came here 'cause I saw you from up there and you had Momo and were being suspicious.

[swordbends]

Please. I'm a hunter from the Water Tribe. I'm not scared of a few bears. And I can handle a little barrier too.

[breezing]

What about talking bears?

[swordbends]

There aren't talking bears.

[breezing]

Are so. Lots of the animals in Luceti from Luceti talk. Wanna go find a bird? I don't think we should find a bear.

...They're kinda dumb though. I mean, they're not like us. Or even Momo, right, Momo?

[He pats her on the head.]

[ Ikki drops his hand, although just to spin her staff with both hands, firing off a blast of air at a tree - harmless, but enough to shake it. ]

I don't make up stories!! At least not unless I say I'm making them up and I'm actually playing but that's not what I'm doing right now! And anyway you'll want to come back to town 'cause someone you're looking for is probably still there.

[swordbends]

[... okay, she just shot air out of her staff. What the hell.]

[breezing]

[ ...AND THEN SHE ACCIDENTALLY OUTED HERSELF, why was being from the future so hard. ]

I already told you who I am! I'm Ikki. ...And I always knew your name. Sorry. You should have introduced yourself to me and then it would have been okay. That's not how I normally call you, but you're not going to believe me if I explain it. But how'd you catch Momo? I bet Momo came right to you, right?

[swordbends]

You're not making any sense. How did you just do... whatever you did?

[With the... air. And stuff.]

[breezing]

I'm an airbender. I said that.

The airbenders all died out. A hundred years ago. Everyone knows that.

[breezing]

No, they didn't. I mean, most of them did. But one of them survived. The Avatar survived.

[swordbends]

Oh really? Because if he survived, he must be having a nice long vacation while the rest of us are at war. So thanks for that, Avatar.

[breezing]

Don't talk about him like that!! That's my Grandpa. And he came back! He'll come back. It wasn't something he meant to do, anyway. He got frozen.

[swordbends]

Frozen. Right. Well you can tell your grandpa if he wants to help anybody, the Fire Nation is that way. [He points towards the east and starts to walk away.]

[breezing]

...Hey! Where are you going? You're not really going out in the woods, are you?

[ Argh she can't even tattle on him. ]

I said you wouldn't believe me, but you asked anyway. I can't leave you alone if you're going to go do stuff when you don't even know the stuff to look out for!!

[swordbends]

Oh, I'm real worried now. But I think I'll be fine without a five year old around to protect me.

[breezing]

I'm eight!!!

And Katara's going to be in the village, not out somewhere else. So if you go there, it's the wrong way, so there. [ that is pretty much the only other thing she can think of to say to encourage him not to go live in the woods which sounds dangerous. ]

[swordbends]
