Sokka the 82nd - [Action]

When Sokka woke up in the smithy, he was, to say the least, concerned. He had apparently died and gone to weapon heaven. And then of course, there was some horrible saber-toothed moose lion on the floor next to him. Feeling rather panicked, Sokka scooped up his boomerang (and the awesome looking sword next to it) and snuck out of the smithy without waking it up. Upon examining the boomerang, he noted it was strange how it had a few extra notches and scratches to it, like it had seen some rough times. That worried him.

The town proved even more mind blowing. It was huge. Buildings raising up beyond what he could imagine and there were so many people and houses. And not a single inch of snow. In fact, he felt rather hot and he immediately had to shed his parka. He felt lost and confused and was worried about where the rest of his tribe was. Where was Katara? Or Gran-Gran? He needed to find them. And thus he began to explore town, from one shop and house to another. Sneakily.

At some point, Momo comes landing on his shoulder. A nice lemur. A nice delicious lemur. Sokka easily catches it (since it doesn't resist).

"Mmm. Hello meat. You're just in time for lunch!"

And so with lemur in tow, Sokka made a short stop in the woods, making ready to start a fire and cook a lemur. It would be wise to stop him. Otherwise, he'll be searching the town for people from his tribe and you know, a reason for why he has wings now.

[ Okay, Ikki is SORT OF clear on what's going on now, at least. And at least one or two people in her house seem to be clear of whatever-it-is, although grandpa is twelve and Zuko has weird hair. She's still working on locating the people she knows to figure out who's weird and who isn't.

Despite looking a lot younger, Sokka's about the same from above. ...At least, he has the coloring and the water tribe clothes, and Ikki can spot Momo anywhere. Mark one more down in the crazy column, and where is he taking Momo.

Obviously this requires investigation, so she'll drop down to follow on foot, staff in one hand. Soren sticks to the skies. ]

Hey! What're you doing to Momo???

[ She does not say "Uncle Sokka" only because Ikki has by this point learned that arguing about how she knows people when people are experimented on is pretty pointless and also what are you doing to her grandpa's lemur you heathen. ]

[Oh. It's a little kid and not one of the ones from home. He's suddenly less interested. Even though Momo does try to pry free from Sokka's hands. No luck there.]

My lemur that you're holding! [ Because yes she's claiming Momo if he's in any sort of danger. He's technically a family pet it works!

Ikki points her glider staff at Sokka. ] Right there.

[He casually pushes her staff away.]

Sorry little girl, I found it first. But you can have the tail if you want. I hate tail meat.

[breezing]

I don't eat meat!

[ ...She briefly debates how much trouble she could get in for bending at her uncle after, and decides it probably would get cancelled out by both grandparents and probably her uncle it's in Momo's defense.

Although talking is what you're supposed to do first, so. ]

You did not find Momo first! Momo is my family. If you don't give him back, I'm going to have to take him back. I'm sorry, but you're not allowed to eat him!! He won't come back if you do I don't think although actually I'm not sure if he would or not but even if he did I don't think you'd be happy about it later so I'm allowed to stop you and I'm going to if I have to but really you should just give him back. Please.

[Suki, a young, beautiful warrior, catches the young sexist Water Tribe boy. Though Suki doesn't recognize him, his outfit does look like a Water Tribe one, or at least from what she has been told. Not to mention he looks like he's carrying a flying lemur. Suki had only heard about them.]

Hey you. [She called out to the stranger.] Do you know what you're carrying?

[Sokka is barely paying attention to her because seriously, little girl. Totally not a thread. He rolls his eyes and casually rubs a finger in his hear.]

Sorry, did you say something? [He looks at the lemur and frowns.] You're saying this is your pet?

[Because he's not so heartless he'd eat someone's pet. But... man. He's hungry.]

[When Sokka looks at her, he doesn't know what to make of that... ridiculous outfit. Sure, it's kinda neat. But a little much. And the makeup? Huh.]

It's a cat monkey, obviously.

[He smirks at her because wow, how do you not know that.]

[breezing]

...Duh! Look, if you're hungry, why don't you just get food from - [ ...well not "home"... ] the store or something? We don't have money here so you can just take whatever. That isn't Momo.

And then I won't have to airbend at you, so it'll work out better.

[swordbends]

Oh. You're an airbender, huh? [Well that's just cute. He shrugs and holds out the lemur.] Fine. You can have your cat monkey. Please, just don't airbend at me.

It's just a different kind of cat monkey. Obviously. [Jeez, girls don't know anything.]

[breezing]

He's a flying lemur. [ She holds out her arms for Momo to jump into, though. ] ...And I'm an air nomad, yep. But my Gran Gran was from the Southern Water Tribe.

I'm Ikki. Do you want me to show you to the store? They have jerky and stuff. And chocolate and soda.

[Aang sees that strange boy walking through town but more importantly sees what he's carrying. And he practically zeroes in on it.]

Not all animals are the same everywhere. There's variations. I mean, obviously. Look at it.

[Momo stares blankly at her. And then tries to jump at her, but Sokka stops it.]

See? It's vicious.

[Sokka makes sure the lemur is out of grabbing range for Aang.]

Okay. Come this way, then. [ She will reach over and grab his hand to tow him along, so that he comes with. ] We can get something for Soren and Momo, too.

[ ...Though Soren's just circling overhead, and not near enough to the ground to be immediately obvious, she still references him. ]

And you can come back to our house to stay if you want, tonight. We have lots of extra rooms and a slide and a pool and a trampoline I got for my birthday and there's a hot tub on the boys' floor and stuff. So it's a nice place to be. No one else will mind, as long as you promise not to try to eat anyone else in our family.

[ Otherwise she guesses she can...find him a place to stay elsewhere. What does one do with one's strangely scrawny great-uncle. ]
