Appointments Post

This post is for threading with Sokka anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with him for personal conversations.

They were part of my slightly rebellious phase.

[ the 'can't see you' goes both ways -- trying to look down to catch a glimpse at the little sokka would prove to be rather difficult. instead, it's a bit like talking to a disembodied voice. or a voice in her head. ]

Well. Let me check it out.

[And then he's going to get to his feet and balance. And because he wants to prove to himself he's still capable, he's going to try and go around the back of her neck, standing on her necklace, and try to make his way around. Assuming nothing stops him. Or he doesn't slip.]

[ well! then he's bound to come across her nasty triple bite-marks on the side of her neck as she goes -- buffy forgets about them. instead? she turns and twists her head in a vain attempt to see what she won't be able to see. ]

H-hey. What? For real? You're climbing around?

[For a moment he gets distracted by those bite marks, having never quite noticed that scar before, when suddenly she turns her head and knocks him off balance.]

Whoa- don't---! [And then he goes falling... falling... and in his falling, he manages to grab something. The very bottom edge of the shirt she's wearing. He'll breathe a sigh of relief as he manages to get himself more secure.]

[ ...huh. when she can't feel him on her neck any longer, she freezes. too scared to put her right foot down just in case. ]

...Sokka? Sokka -- where are you? [ she listens. mightily. ]

[He takes a few good seconds to catch his breath. That. That was kind of scary. Once he feels a little less panicked, he finally will yell up.]

Don't move! I'm coming back up!

Back...up?

[ she doesn't follow orders well and so she bows her head -- looking for him. twisting her upper body to check behind her. ]

[He's in the middle of climbing back up when she does that, causing him to nearly slip and fall again. At the very least she can probably see him, given he's fairly low on her back.]

Whoa! Watch it!

Holy He-- [ she finally stops all that twisting.

okay, okay: ] Careful of the wings, Edmund Hillary.

[Whoever Edmund is, anyway. Sokka makes sure to climb away from them, though he does take a moment to marvel at hers. They seem really impressive and amazing from this size. Unfortunately they're too far to touch, so he finishes his journey up on her shoulder. The one he was trying to get up to all along.]

What do you know. Two earrings after all.

And a hole for a third. I'll...try not to send you flying again.

Yes, no more flying, please!

Though, that does beg the question of whether you could fly. Like, in a paper airplane.

I can't decide if that is a great idea or a horrible one. [He gets himself settled again so he won't fall when she starts walking again.] Though I might weigh too much for one.

...Remote control car, maybe? Could be fun. Or it could be a disaster waiting to happen.

[ she keeps her chin high -- hyper-aware of the little man on her shoulder. ]

[He has to admit, the thought of it does sound pretty fun. He's seen them in Luceti before.]

Tempting. But it would be more fun if I had the controls.

Well, duh. Hence the potential disaster part, right?

... right. [So. Yeah. Let's scratch that one off.] How far do we have left? [He lost track what with that whole accident just now.]

Only a few more minutes. It would've been Hell to try and make this trek all on your onesome. Is there at least someone home? I'm not gonna have to start breaking and entering, am I?

I... am not sure. I guess we'll see when we get there.

Do you guys normally lock your door? Or are you old time hippies alongside those funky hair-dos? Maybe you believe in trusting thy neighbour?

Hey, hey! There's nothing wrong with our hair. And we only lock it at night. There's not much point during the day.

I don't know. Twice, now, Tony Stark has wandered into my house uninvited and unannounced.

... I don't think I've had that problem. And he actually lives nearby too.

Somehow? I remain uncomforted by the fact that it's just me he pesters, then.
