Sokka the 67th - [Action/Voice]

[Well, apparently the experiment was over. Sokka was glad for that. He was also in his rightful body. He had to suffer a kiss from Haruhi for it, but that seemed worth it to have his body back. A small price to pay and all that. That meant that with all the madness over, he could finally get back to work. He felt rusty, but once he was back in the smithy, everything just felt right. But he also didn't have much in the way to work on, which meant he was going to have to make a courtesy call to Luceti for work.]

So... that was one of the weirder experiments. But it was pretty harmless. I'd rate it about a three on the annoyance scale. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with all these costumes I ended up with. [Maybe he can give them to Shiki. Surely she wants loads of peasant clothes.]

Anyway, there's a weapon shop in town - the Slash and Crash. Yeah, I know, cool name. I came up with it myself. Anyway, things are slow-ish around here, so we're willing to take some requests and commissions for stuff. Or, well, I am anyway. I can't make guns or anything, but your swords and spears and stuff? We've got that. We can also do repair or maintenance work too. So... just let me know. Or come in. That works too.

[With that out of the way, Sokka starts fixing his work area, noticing now that Haruhi managed to get it a little out of order. He'll spend the rest of the day doing manly things, like staring at his reflection in the fountain and sometimes flexing just a little to remind himself he's no longer a tiny five foot tall girl. On the way home he stops to stare at the Brigade building, thinking back to being in charge there. He then decides obviously he doesn't miss that at all and goes to get some food. He might also be willing to help make dinner tonight. He's had a little practice this past month.]

Normally I'd agree, but you're the one who has to get back on my good side, remember? [Totally got you by the balls, honey.

Mind you it's pretty much in jest, but HEY she's having fun anyway.]

I do- ...oh, wow. That is weird, isn't it? [And now she has to stop and ponder.] Well, most of the things that've happened were because of experiments... so it's kind of unfair to be mad at you for that.

Well. Yeah. This time. But you're kind of lucky. I mean, not getting hit by as many experiments. I'm not sure I've ever missed one.

Maybe we just need to spend more time together. My good luck will rub off on you.

[And even if it doesn't, a little rubbing is bound to cheer him up.]

I think I'd be okay with that. Good luck or not.

Mm, that's always nice to hear. Shall we go then?

[She's rather interested to see how Sokka's improved mood might have improved certain other things.]

[He nods. And he'll also take her hand so they can walk. And while they do, he will prove they can talk and not flirt relentlessly!]

So... how's the Kyoshi Warriors thing going?

[Yeah good luck with that.]

I think it's going well! Everyone learns at a different pace, so it's kind of a challenge to keep us all at the same level, but I've tried to get the girls to help each other with it.

Well, that's good. Not exactly the old gang. I'll have to come by and watch soon. See how it's going.

I'd be glad to have you along if the others don't mind. Just don't try to jump in and show me up.

Come on, you know there's no chance of that! Not unless I bring back the Boomeranger Club. But I don't think Teoh and The Duke ever actually learned to even use a boomerang...

[Suki, you have no idea how much time Sokka wasted in the Western Air Temple before rescuing her.]

And I'd look even worse in Kyoshi makeup with this thing. [He says as he strokes his beard.]

Yeah. When we first got the Western Air Temple, all the Benders would go off and bend. So the three of us were stuck there, with nothing to do. So we started our own cool and exclusive club. [Like making toys and silly hats!]

Of course, once you and dad were there, it wasn't quite as boring.

[If you're trying to talk without flirting, Sokka, you're off to a terrible start. Although-]

It was a pretty important reunion, wasn't it?

It's a good thing you noticed me there, too. You'd have been in real trouble if you'd escaped with your dad and left me there.

Seriously! We would have never caught the Warden otherwise. I still don't know how you managed to do... all of that. You're not secretly an Airbender, are you?

No way! That's one-hundred-percent Kyoshi skills. You'd be that good someday too if you hadn't quit.

Well, it doesn't really matter. We're supposed to avoid teaching boys anyway.

You're lucky I don't turn you into the other Kyoshi Warriors. Making an exception for boyfriends could get you in trouble.

You weren't my boyfriend back then, and the only ones who'd care were right behind me when I agreed to teach you! Anyway, it was worth it just to see you wearing the uniform. I'm sure the girls wouldn't mind.
