Sokka the 57th - [Action/Voice]
[Sokka has some messages to knock out of the way. He doesn't bother with a filter for the first one, mainly because he feels like being somewhat of a jerk and making light of Haruhi's ridiculous relationship with her 'minions'. In spite of that, Sokka's tone is pretty flat. There's no excitement here and it's pretty obvious through the message something is bothering him.]
Hey Haruhi, feel free to send Naoki over. He can do his thing now. [Oh wait...] Uh, after Leon takes a look over it, I guess.
[Wonder Woman // Locked]
Uh, hey Diana. Can I ask a favor?
[This last one he almost backs out of doing. But it's been a few days now and things haven't changed. Maybe this will help.]
[Filtered from Housemates (and Haruhi as an afterthought)]
So... hypothetically speaking, how do you make up it up to someone you really care about for something that really hurt them when what you did... there was nothing you could do about it?
[With things so awkward at home with Suki, Sokka has been spending less time there. It's hard to spend time with your girlfriend when she's still upset with you, but being polite about it. So this leaves him working at the smithy for longer hours, actually doing homework at the library, and once more taking part in his neverending quest to find a hat that really says Sokka to him. Through all this, he is accompanied by a certain cheeky lemur hanging around on top of his head, shoulder, or getting into things he shouldn't.
He will, at least, drag himself home for dinner. Delicious, awkward dinner.]

slavesbrigade members so well?]Just remember to not drop it! It's sensitive stuff, right? It's back here. [Time to weave around the shop so they can get back to the work area.] Edward and Winry are going to be happy to have these huge things out of the way now.
[action]
absurdlynaturally helpful, my friend.]Don't worry, I won't drop it. [He trots after him.] It's not the first time I've had to move something big.
[action]
[Going back to regular kinda sucked. But soon they're in the work area. Two semi-identical teleporters, far larger than the one in the Rec Center. Not only are these going to be heavy, but an awkward load to carry.]
It's all in the knees.
[action]
[He pauses, looking between the two teleporters and nodding in absentminded acknowledgement at the words. Hm. All right, he thinks he's figured out how he's going to carry it. He moves to one, crouching before lifting it up easily.]
[action]
I have. It just doesn't happen often.
[action]
[Naoki murmurs it thoughtfully as he shifts his hold on the teleporter, assuring he's not going to drop it. Demon strength does wonders--even if you wouldn't guess it given he doesn't even appear that muscular.] ...all right, think I got it.
[action]
[Now that Naoki seems steady, Sokka goes to slide open the large doors in the back area. He'll probably have to walk Naoki the whole way there. Super strength is no match for the odd pot hole or slippery ice on the way, especially when you can't really see where you're going.]
[action]
Does it feel strange now, being without it?
[action]
It did, at first. I got so used to it, it kind of was, well, becoming normal, right? I had to learn my own strength all over again.
[action]
[He shifts the teleporter slightly in his arms.] ...I had to readjust. A lot of things ended up broken.
[action]
That's what happened when I first got them. I actually punched a hole through one of those droids.
[action]
Ahaha...it's pretty dangerous, at first. [A faint smile.]
[action]
[A little emphasis on the was. Thinking about it makes him feel miserable, frankly. Losing those powers was a major blow to his self esteem.]
[action]
--how much further to the barracks? It's really hard to see around this thing.
[action]
[There's halfhearted teasing in his voice. He's really not int it]
[action]
[action]
[The way he says this makes it clear he's mocking Haruhi, not Naoki.]
Watch out, ice. Go to your left.
[action]
I'll just have to do my very best, then.
[action]
Alright, ease it in. You might need to squat a bit so you don't hit the door frame.
