[This morning, the Sokka that wakes up is not the one he was before. However as he gets out of bed, he soon recognizes the room he's in. He remembered it from two years ago... how did he get back here? How was he going to get back? With a sigh, he turns to his journal.]

What's the month and cycle here?

[Best to find out how long he's been gone. He soon finds some clothes that aren't too small on him and gets dressed, heading out to see what's changed since he's been gone from Luceti. Already he knows something is wrong. If he was sent home and brought back, all this stuff shouldn't be here. Maybe some people from home are here. Or maybe... maybe his sister is still alive here. He swallows hard as he exits his room, going to explore the house.

Later in the day, he'll be roaming town, now educated about what exactly is going on. He isn't too happy about it, but he can at least catch up with some old friends before he's sent home.]

((ooc: Avatar Sokka again! From his perspective, he left for his own world in August and has been gone for two years. He has all of his memories from prior to AU, thought it may take awhile for him to remember some people. Anyone regular Sokka met after August is completely new to him. Also, replies will come from

Well, what's the deal with you and the other me? Last time I was here, I heard your name come up a few times. Seems like you must be important.

[She hesitates briefly, then follows along, though she can't help but wish for some back-up. Seriously awkward.]

I sure hope so. I am his girlfriend.

[Well, the other Sokka hasn't done too bad for himself, after all.]

How'd you meet?

The Kyoshi Warriors captured Sokka, Katara, and the Avatar - Aang - when they visited the island. We thought they were spies until Aang showed us his Airbending.

[Why would Airbending matter? ... oh right, in her world, they're all gone.]

So you captured him and you fall in love? How romantic.

It didn't exactly go like that, but... well, it's more or less true.

[He smirks, stroking his chin as he gives her a quick one over.]

So, you're a girl who likes to be in control of the relationship. And your Sokka... I guess that's how he likes it.

Control? Is that how it looks? [Huh... now she can't help but wonder if Sokka would agree, and how he feels about that.] I don't mean to.

Only from here. I've known some girls who are like that. Sometimes it's nice being controlled. You know, actually... you know who you remind me of?

Who? [And should she be concerned?]

Azula! Okay, okay, I doubt you're as much of a perfectionist. But I bet that's what the other me sees in you.

[He just compared you to a hot Fire Nation princess, Suki. That's flattering!]

[You see this look, Sokka? This is the expression of a girl who is definitely not flattered.]

...How could you say something like that? Are you trying to insult me?

What? What? No!

[He groans.] What's with you guys! I mention anyone else and no one cares, what's the big deal about her?

It's because Azula's a horrible person! I can't even count the number of people she's hurt during the war. She's crazy.

[It's hard to even imagine her like that...]

The Azula I knew had never known war. I wonder if that's changed...

[The idea of an Azula outside of war is just... brainbreaking. The Fire Nation had oppressed the world for so long, after all. It's enough to dissolve most of her anger for the moment, at least.]

Just what is so different about the world you're from...?

We never had your war. I'm not sure what exactly was different... but maybe it was because what I did in my past life, when Roku was forced to kill Sozin. I used to think that was the right thing, but now?

... well, I'm not so sure. [It was just the beginning of trouble.]

Actually, Sokka did. I didn't hear much about it, though.

Is that right? [He leans back in his seat, kicking his feet up on a nearby table.] All good, right? [No. He's pretty sure his counterpart hates him.]

I'm not sure you even want to know. [Yeah, she remembers Sokka not liking him much.]

Yeah, yeah. I get it. [He groans and reclines his head back on the seat, staring at the ceiling.]

I bet that whole thing with Winry and Haruki pissed him off.

Winry and Haruki? [That's right, Winry was... wait, but how did Sokka fit into this mix!?]

Yeah. It's no secret I've always had a thing for Winry. That week, she happened to be looking extra nice. Practically Water Tribe, even. Dark skin, white hair. A real beauty, just like Yue. So I was just talking to Haruki, same as always. Told him my plans...

[He leans back forward.] Haruki got upset over that. No idea why, but he totally flipped out.
