Sokka the 48th -- [Voice/Action]

[After being sent home in his own bed, Sokka had slept in a bit, finally had some real food and then went to see Suki. By now, he figures he should check to see how things went. Thus, he has a message to leave.]

Well that was a lousy week. How's everyone else doing? Did I miss anything?

Oh and uh. I think I might have to take the week off from the smithy. Maybe longer. That goes for training too.

[... yeah, that should do. He'll hang around town acting just a bit odd. For instance, very gently and very slowly opening the doors to shops. He doesn't bother going to the smithy. He's mainly just trying to stave off boredom due to the fact he really can't do much of anything now. Stupid Malnosso.]

Why does Haruki need something with special metal?

He's really close to that fire spirit. He wanted me to make him something that so, if he ever had to fight, would help protect him from the fire.

Well he's not the only one buddies with Eferin! I mean, the spirit isn't an exclusive club or anything. Why are you wasting awesome metal like that on him?

Forget Eferin - because, come on, you can't even use him outside the village anyway. You create two sets of Mercurius grieves, hooked up to a flamethrower. Now only can you spew dangeorus fire faster and deadlier than Eferin or even a firebender, but with the greaves you would have just as much versatility in directing the stream.

And I'd want to create a weapon of destruction over a piece of armor that would protect my boyfriend, why?

Well Haruki explained it to me like this: You're basically asking for the Spirits' help.

If you think of it that way, they're beings right? So a Filial Spirit can either comply with or deny your request. And if they can do that, then yeah. I guess they can get mad.

Well it's not like I haven't tried to apologize or anything! I think she could cut me some slack just a little, you know.
