Sokka the 48th -- [Voice/Action]

[After being sent home in his own bed, Sokka had slept in a bit, finally had some real food and then went to see Suki. By now, he figures he should check to see how things went. Thus, he has a message to leave.]

Well that was a lousy week. How's everyone else doing? Did I miss anything?

Oh and uh. I think I might have to take the week off from the smithy. Maybe longer. That goes for training too.

[... yeah, that should do. He'll hang around town acting just a bit odd. For instance, very gently and very slowly opening the doors to shops. He doesn't bother going to the smithy. He's mainly just trying to stave off boredom due to the fact he really can't do much of anything now. Stupid Malnosso.]

If it weren't for them he would have died, and Scar would have continued to rule as a tyrant. Their role was vital to Simba's - and Pride Rock's - future!

I'm not saying it was a mistake to save him! But look how hard it was for Nala and the monkey guy to convince him to go back. It was because they convinced him he had no responsibility! If Nala hadn't conveniently ran into him, he would've never gone back.

It wasn't just because of that. Actually, I think it was his own guilt holding him back more than anything.

Yeah, well. I didn't like them anyway. Even the laughing dogs were better. The whole thing could have used less singing altogether.

I liked it. It was almost like going to a Theater and seeing a live Show.

Well... it was loads better than the Ember Island Players. But do you want to know what was really weird?

I've met two lions in this place. They talked. And their names were Simba and Scar. The first one even ate bugs, like the one in the movie.

Right! I thought I saw Scar in the woods one time, too! Haruki and I talked about it.

He was actually really nice, too. We went hunting together. Very polite.

Yeah. Kind of makes you wonder, what if we're just fictional characters in other people's world. Not even real, just a figment of someone's imagination. [And then he looks down.] And then I remember I have this sore on my toe and I realize, "What kind of person would imagine me having a sore on my toe"?

I... don't think I needed all of that, Sokka.

Have you broken anything else today, aside from doors?

I broke a junk sword earlier. Over my knee. But that was just to show someone what I could.
