Sokka the 48th -- [Voice/Action]

[After being sent home in his own bed, Sokka had slept in a bit, finally had some real food and then went to see Suki. By now, he figures he should check to see how things went. Thus, he has a message to leave.]

Well that was a lousy week. How's everyone else doing? Did I miss anything?

Oh and uh. I think I might have to take the week off from the smithy. Maybe longer. That goes for training too.

[... yeah, that should do. He'll hang around town acting just a bit odd. For instance, very gently and very slowly opening the doors to shops. He doesn't bother going to the smithy. He's mainly just trying to stave off boredom due to the fact he really can't do much of anything now. Stupid Malnosso.]

I heard. But I also heard they did something to keep you safe and to rescue everyone who was kidnapped.

What's wrong? Did something happen? [He sees what Sokka's doing. Did the mission not go as planned? Why didn't Albert announce anything, if so?]

I guess I was the lucky one. They took me for experimentation not long after I arrived. That... pill John gave me didn't kick in soon enough.

I see.... [He's not going to ask how it went, his vague, blurry memories of his own kidnapping are enough.]

Maybe you should just.... try not to do much? Or maybe take a chance to try something you could only do with such strength.

I've already called off work and training. And I really can't think of any jobs that require strength.

Ok? [Frey follows, wondering if Sokka is taking his suggestion to heart.]

[Outside the smithy is a barrel of scrap metal. Sokka takes out an old, dull sword due to be melted down.]

Okay, see this? [He takes it and... snaps it in two over his knee. With complete ease.] And that's with metal. I'm pretty sure the firewood wouldn't stand up.
