Sokka the 47th - [Voice/Action]

I guess that's it for the new people, unless it starts up again this month. Well, anyway, I'm Sokka. Or Sokka Thunderaxe as some have been known to call me. I'm fine with either one.

I run the smithy here in town, known as the Slash 'n Crash, along with Edward and Winry. They both work for me. [They don't, but this is some rather obvious trolling here.] So if you need any kind of weapons made, or sharpened, or you know... some other kind of odd job. I'm the go to guy for that. There isn't money, so... the stuff is free. But we do accept favors as payment! Or food. Or well, anything. Just ask for me, Sokka. That's with an okka. [Accept no substitutes.]

Sooooo. [A beat.] How did it go?

[For you action lovers out there, Sokka can be found at his usual haunts. School, the smithy, eating lunch in the plaza, or generally hanging out around his house.]

And here's the axe. [He thumps the dull-bladed tool down on the counter.]

He looks roughly Momo-sized. I think I should be fine.

[The monkey jumps on Jack's shoulder and begins scolding Hawky.]

Jack! No! Bad monkey! Naughty!

[Oh great, now Hawky is flapping his wings and screeching even louder.]

Hawky! Quiet! Quiet! Stop that!

Thunderaxe! I'm sorry, lad--I've never heard him use such language. I don't think he likes your bird at all. Reminds him of an eagle he once met in Belize; they didn't get on at all.

Yeah, clearly. [Sokka gets Hawky to climb on to his arm, slips a blank piece of paper into the tube on his back, and sends him flying to send it to Katara.]

... whew. [Wait.] You speak monkey?

[Action]

Well it's not that difficult, is it? Now, look: this blade, when can it be sharpened? I'm on schedule.

I can do it now. Just give me an hour. And... take the monkey with you.

Ah. Monkey...yes. Right. Farewell for now then, Thunderaxe.

[And with a swirl of coattails, pirate and monkey are gone from the place, the axe left behind.]

[Right. So, in order to prove he doesn't hop to stuff when Jack tells him, Sokka spends a whole ten minutes doing nothing.

And THEN he sharpens the axe. Whenever Jack gets back, it'll be sitting there, sharp enough to split a hare. Splitting a hair might be a tad more difficult.]
