Sokka the 47th - [Voice/Action]

I guess that's it for the new people, unless it starts up again this month. Well, anyway, I'm Sokka. Or Sokka Thunderaxe as some have been known to call me. I'm fine with either one.

I run the smithy here in town, known as the Slash 'n Crash, along with Edward and Winry. They both work for me. [They don't, but this is some rather obvious trolling here.] So if you need any kind of weapons made, or sharpened, or you know... some other kind of odd job. I'm the go to guy for that. There isn't money, so... the stuff is free. But we do accept favors as payment! Or food. Or well, anything. Just ask for me, Sokka. That's with an okka. [Accept no substitutes.]

[More than usual, actually. He hasn't exactly went around spreading the word, but the Malnosso have been a little more generous in the amount that shows up.]

Tell me the price range of favors first.

I'm not exactly about to go around openly explaining my arsenal if I can avoid it.

Err. Well uh, I've worked for baked goods before. I'm not picky.

Well. Erm. What else can you offer?

Jeez, I don't know. Nothing useful here...

Do you know what hang-gliding is?

A glider? Yeah, I know a thing or two about those. [He could have flown one, but he was too busy geeking out about SCIENCE at the time.]

I can make as many as you want. I mean it'll still be hard to get up a lot of height, but they should be fun for jumping off the rooftops with.

That would be pretty cool, but what exactly are you trading those for? If it's stuff already in the smithy, I can't exactly charge you for that.

Why not? Are the bullets duds or something?

No. But... I didn't make them. The Malnosso just resupply us with stuff every now and then.

Like the food and stuff?

Exactly!

So who's holding onto them? Just the smithy?

That's right. They arrive here, we deal with them.

But you don't charge anything for them?

Not a thing. They're just there. Like the food in the grocery store. People come. They take. They leave. Sometimes they say hi.

Strange.

All right, can you do slightly more artistic pieces, like silversmithing instead of just blacksmithing?

Uh, well. I can try? It's not really what I do...

[Sighs.] Forget it then. Tch... too risky that you might lose quality on the materials.

... if you say so. [Picky women! Yeesh.]

Got anything else you can do?

Let's see fighting, hunting, smithing, I'm pretty good with engineering, uh. Boats. I'm good at making those.

Mah... I'll let you know if something comes up then.

Or I could make you a start glider for free I suppose. As a good faith gesture so that you know I can.
