[The recent arrival of Hawky has Sokka remembering the Fire Nation. The old days... when Sokka was another person. When he was a man. A man with a beard. Not only that, but it's a rather warm day for September. Sort of like... a Fire Nation summer. And it just so happens, he has a beard. He always has a beard. So he digs out his long neglected Fire Nation clothes (which are tighter than he remembered them being), moves his hair up into a top knot, uses some red dye on his wings, and applies a layer of glue to his face and eyebrows, applying his beard and busy brows. Wang Fire is back.

He sets up a booth in front of the plaza. Beside him, on a special stand, is Hawky. Cleverly disguised as well, with a small fez (with a Fire Nation emblem) strapped on his head. He is, of course, giving free advice today. He even leaves a voice post on the journal, using a very deep voice that sounds nothing like Sokka.]

Fellow citizens of Luceti. Do you need... advice? If you do, talk to the great Wang Fire. Troubled romance, missing home, family issues, or even trouble deciding what to eat for dinner. I can help!

[OH THANK GOD, HE MADE IT TO THE PLAZA. He'd ended up at the barracks two hours ago and had been about ready to start tearing down trees to clear a path. He'd only wanted to pick up some seeds for the garden - Svala had had one, so it seemed like the right thing to do - but after all this mess, he just wants to go home. ...Who knew how long that would take.

He's about to go hunting for directions - much to his humiliation, sob - when he spots the little man at a booth in the plaza. ...What in the world.]

Just what are you supposed to be?

[He leans forward for an introduction.]

My name is Wang Fire, young man! The proprietor of this booth, where the only product is sage advice. I specialize in emotional therapy.

[Another pause, as Edward scrutinizes him.]

[....AND THEN HE KEEPS WALKING /o/]

[... he crosses his arm and frowns.

[OH WAIT you can be somewhat useful, so Edward comes back after a moment.]

Hey, direct me to the item bazaar.

[You mean the one in plain sight from here? Wang gives a withering look at Edward, then to Mr. Bird.]

Off you go! To the item shop! [Hawky immediately flies off, then Wang looks to Edward.] Follow the bird, young man! Let his beak be your guide!

[....What, it's right over there? Really? >_> Edward refrains from groaning or facepalming and just... politely bows and heads off after the hawk. This guy isn't so pointless after all.]
