Sokka the 42nd - [Action/Written]
[Changing back suddenly had been something of a shock. His counterpart had a tendency to stay up late and while in the middle of making a sandwich for lunch, he gradually became aware something had changed as he blanked out for a moment. He felt shorter, younger, and there was less hair on his chin. His hair was still down, but he soon fixed that. After enough time, things started to catch up with him. All the horrible things he said, did, and thought... they were firmly in his mind. Maybe it wasn't really him who did all that stuff, but he remembered it like it was.
He spends a few hours not even sleeping, just going over everything he could remember, His first priority was his sister. After quietly peeking in on her, he could see she was back to her old self. They really, really needed to talk. But for now, he takes out his journal and writes out a message.]
I'm back to my old self. To anyone I talked to this last week, I'm sorry for everything. It wasn't me, it was... someone else. Kind of. Especially you, Winry.
[Of course, writing that in the middle of the night likely won't get noticed until the morning. By that time, Sokka will be on the roof of his house, temporarily covering up the damage left there by a certain incident yesterday. It's a good excuse for not having to face what happened the last week.]

Of all the things for that fight to be about! What a misunderstanding. But the feelings of anger and betrayal linger, and Xion isn't sure how to handle them. ]

He's been trying not to think overmuch (though it's hard not to), focusing instead on trying to find Sigmund, all the while wondering if he actually wants to find him. Since Sigmund doubtlessly left for a reason.
So that's how Edward will be passing by Sokka's house- unarmed, rather distressed and trying not to look distressed, wandering the village and trying to find someone he seriously doubts he'll see again for days.]

[Man, he just hopes Winry will forgive him. He kinda figured she went ahead and listened to that conversation with Haruki... even though the other him tried to abuse what trust they had to keep her from doing it.]

[Voice... kinda]
He and the Avatar version might've hated each other's guts, mutually, but that doesn't matter to him since he always saw that Sokka for what it was: another version. It has no standing on his feelings with this one]
Took long enough, didn't it?

[ Action ] s-sob, so much tl;dr
When she does come to herself it's with a gasp and a jerk, abruptly sitting up in her bed and as her hand goes to her heart she feels the reassuring clink of her mother's necklace.
It was only a dream.
But it had felt so real. Her other hand goes up to the side of her head where her hair should be singed and feels it, to her relief, as healthy and hale as ever.
Oh.
That's right. Katie had helped her, hadn't she? Or had Nephry? Diana had taken her to the clinic? It was all so confusing. But she remembers Sokka, in his Avatar self, he'd helped her. He'd made her feel better. And then yesterday, with Yuber...
...it takes her a moment to realize that the pounding she is hearing is external. He must be working on the roof. And if he's doing that he's back to himself too. Good.
...but that doesn't mean nothing's changed. Her hand tightens on her mother's necklace. She can only imagine how he must be feeling right now. And she isn't even sure how she's feeling. That poor little girl, her other self... she can still almost feel the burns. Katara knows that she needs to go and talk to Sokka, needs to do what she can to make everything as okay as it can be.
But she's not strong enough to yet. She trembles for a moment on the bed letting the fear wash through her like a wave. When it finally passes she opens her eyes and - feeling a little more herself and less a frightened and abused eight year old.
She wanted to see Sokka, she wanted to see her brother with her own eyes. She doesn't even bother brushing her hair, she just walks outside in the early morning light. There he is, up on the roof. She sighs with relief.]
[ Action ] that's the tealest deer ever
Kya, their mother, had died so that future never happened to Katara. They lost their mother so Katara wouldn't have to be taken by horrible, inhuman soldiers to be savagely burned and mistreated. And in light of that revelation...
Everything that had happened, the loss of their mother, the way they struggled afterward... he didn't resent it. His mother had died doing something heroic and it wasn't the senseless death he had always thought it was. Choosing between his sister and mother is not something he could ever do, but... he didn't resent their mother for the choice she made.
He only wondered if she'd know. If she didn't... he could never tell her. How could he? She'd never be able to live with that.
So when he sees her walk outside, it's with a mixture of happiness and sadness. Not only about what he can't tell her, but that part of him wondering what happened to that little girl covered in burns after being sent back to that Fire Nation ship.
He hops off the roof to meet her.]
Katara...

At first, there's just a random series of dots as she tapped the page. It really wasn't something she wanted to deal with when she had been so out of sorts since midnight the night before, but she couldn't leave him hanging, so eventually she slowly writes in her overly loopy handwriting:]
Your apology is accepted.
[Written]
Thanks. It was a practice date. Shirley's a nice girl, but I already have one back home.
