Sokka the 35th - [Action/Written]
[It had been an unusually quiet day at the Walton Avatar house. Last night they had all exchanged their good nights. This morning they had all had breakfast together. But when dinner came around, one of their number was conspicuously absent. Electing himself to go yell at their time-dislocated buddy to come and eat. He didn't suspect anything, after all. Roku's staff was sitting off in a corner from when he came in earlier. But when Sokka knocked on the door and received no answer, he proceeded to push the door open...
And saw a sight he had seen before. An empty room. Back to the way it was when they first moved in, save for the paint on the walls. With a sigh, Sokka steps aside so Katara can see. This... this isn't going to be easy.
Hours later, Sokka will leave a message on the journals about it, opting to stick with writing to make things easier.]
Hey everyone. It looks like Roku lucked out and went home. Since he didn't get a chance to say it himself, thanks to everyone who was there for his birthday and stuff. You don't have to worry about him, though. He's got a big important future and is going to live to be an old man with kids. He'll even have statues in his honor. So yeah.Still gonna miss him though.

Come in.
[Action]
... Nami dropped by. She wanted to say hi.
[Action]
All right. [Small smile.] Thanks, Sokka.

Hey, Nami. Come on in. Sorry about the mess. You can sit on the bed, if you like. [Her voice is pleasant, and tired.]
[Action]
I won't stay long. Not unless you'd like me to.

[Action]
Was there something that you needed?
[Action]
I can't just come and see how you are?
[Action]
Thanks.
[Well, now you see. You can go now, right?]
[Action]
...way back when I first got here, the only one of my crew here was Luffy. He got sent home a week later.
[Action]
She moves forward then, the first step a little jerky, to go and sit next to Nami on the bed. There's a long silence where she doesn't say 'I'm sorry' or 'That must have been so hard.']
I'm never going to see him again. He's already forgotten all about us - and gone back to a world without war. He grows up, and gets married to the girl he loves his whole life... and then he's betrayed by his best friend, and left to die in the middle of a volcano. Sozin starts the war... and nothing we could do, even though we met him would change it.
He knew about it, and he still made Sozin a birthday present while he was here. [She trails off, shakes her head, her throat tight.]
[Action]
But most times, they don't. And she won't hold out what could turn into an empty promise. Instead, Nami just sits by Katara comfortably and looks down at her hands.]
It must have hurt him to find that out.
[Action]
[She sighs and shakes her head.] Anyway, that's what set him off so he burned our house, that one time.

...oh well. At least Azula is gone, right?]
Does Zuko make a habit of upsetting people to that extent?
