To everyone who was asking yesterday, Katara is just fine now. So... yeah, thanks Ginko. We owe you one.

So hey, I kind of have a date I need to prepare for. Anyone got any good ideas about what exactly I should do? I know there's typical stuff like a dinner or flowers and stuff like that. But that's kind of amateur stuff, isn't it? I want to go all out! Sure, Luceti is kind of a boring place at times, but I want to really nail this one good. [Of course Sokka means the actual date (which is merely a practice one), not the person he's dating. Feel free to get that wrong, though.]

[Snowdrop flowers make the other person kiss you? What an odd superstition. But it certainly wasn't the oddest she knew. ...Had she seen snowdrop flowers recently? Well, she can't really remember] ...So, not much--not that I really expected otherwise from someone like you.

If you want to start off on a good note, though, you're going to have to get a bouquet of some kind to give her when you go to pick her up. A hand-selected one might be nice, but you might be better off getting some help on that from the flower shop, or asking someone to go with you to give advice.

...But if she knows about that last part, you might want to steer clear of snowdrop flowers. It might give the wrong impression.

Oh, don't worry. The snowdrop flowers went away with Dragobete. [Good grief. If he gave her a bouquet of those, he might be suffocated from the kissing. Eesh.]

So what's your favorite kind of flower?

Drag--? [It takes her a moment, but already trying to remember when she last saw snowdrop flowers prompts her memory of that statue.] Oh, right.

...My favourite flower? [She has one, but it's embarrassing to admit, so:] Er. Water lilies.

Water lilies! [That's PERFECT! Shirley would love that. A whole bunch of water lilies. Yeah. A perfect plan. Yeeeeah.] Yeah, I could get some of those.

...Well, you could, sure. But I don't know whether the flower shop would have them.

Maybe I could find them on the lake or something.

That might work. I guess you could get points for effort, at least.

Uh. Sometimes. Kind of... not so much. And there's no one at Seventh Heaven it looks like, so...

...Maybe not a dinner, then. You could get away with something simple if it was a lunch or a meal like that, but unless you can ask someone who can cook to take over Seventh Heaven for the day, it probably won't work out.

[Unfortunately the only person would do something like that is someone Sokka refuses to talk to.]

What about a picnic. With sandwiches. [A beat.] How do yo feel about hot peppers?

Hot peppers are disgusting. [This is said with a vehemence that may imply she's only encountered them on the wrong end of a practical joke.] I'm only glad that they were so rare at my village.

[But returning to the topic at hand, returning to a normal tone fairly quickly:] A picnic would be a good idea normally, but that's normally not something you do in the evening. It'd be a pretty light dinner, too.

[Man. Fenimore doesn't like peppers? Alas for the poor man she ends up with.] Yeah, I guess you have a point there. Man. I have no idea what to do for dinner now!

You could trade in a favour with some girl and get her to make the dinner. But I really don't recommend it. If your date found out that you had a girl cook for the two of you...well, only losing the chance at the second date would be the best you could hope for.

[Man oh man, why did you have to be such an asshole Sanji. You'd be so useful right now.] Maybe I should just... cook something meaty. And then go simple with everything else. I'm really good wish fish.

A meat dish for a girl? [The skepticism is just pouring out from the slow way she says this question, even though Fenimore probably eats a reasonable amount of meat herself. But, after a beat's pause:] Fish should be okay. You can't go wrong with fish.
