[This seems like a nice, ridiculous number of people to invite. For three canoes. Despite Yellow's suggestion, he doesn't include Red. He barely knows the guy, after all. Gold... well, he doesn't seem so bad.]

So some of you may have heard I was planning a little fishing trip soon. Not just going down the lake for the day, though! A few days camping under the stars, eating what we catch, living like real men! And uh, women! Just real living! It'll be great, trust me. There's even beach party opportunities, if you know what I mean. If all goes well, we leave this Sunday. So who's in?

So uh.. I hope you guys don't mind if I miss training for a few days. I'll be taking some friends of mine on a big fishing trip for a few days. Unwind! Enjoy nature! That sort of thing. I'll try to keep up my practice on my own, but it would take a few hours to go meeting you guys back in the village, given where we're going.

[Once Sokka has made his messages sent out, he decides to enjoy the day off he scheduled himself from the smithy. So aside from attending school that day (and noting a specific lack of his sister, he decides to hang out on his roof practicing with a new flute he found. As it turns out, he's not very good with it just yet. Feel free to tell him to stop polluting the air with those horrible sounds. Hours later in the evening, he'll be off in the woods, deciding to enjoy some hunting. Anyone out in the woods at the time might find him skulking through the woods in his Water Tribe armor complete with wolf helmet. Because... he just likes an excuse to wear it.]

Well, see, the trick is that when you set up the filter...

[Sokka will proceed to give a nice lengthy explanation on how singling people out and filtering only to a small group of people is different and how one is harder than the other. And then go on to explain how to go about doing both of them.]

Okay... well, that's not bad, but... [He explains a bit more, about how to take the filter you've created and stack it in ways to make it more complex and harder to break into.]

[And now he'll go on to explain some of the more complicated ways of making filters. Unfortunately he's not very good at explaining this part, because a lot of it is intuition for him.]
