[Sokka has been running around throughout this entire invasion of butterflies. Having finally caught a moments rest, he decides it's about time to organize things. There's not much time for complicated filters, so he makes this fast.]

Alright, White Lotus. Heads up. Everyone should already know what's going on, by now. Someone has been killed already, so we need to step things up. Right now the town square seems to be the worst place right now. There's not a lot of us though, so we should concentrate our efforts on the southern part of the village for now. Those things are everywhere though, so be sure you have someone watching your back.

This is Sokka, from the White Lotus. We're here to back you guys up. We'll take care of the southern part of the village with what we can. That should free you guys up to focus on the town square and the rest of the village.

[It will be about a good half hour before Sokka shows up, sadly without his flamethrower. In the future he's going to have to smuggle extra rum home so he has more fuel. Fortunately he has good backup weapons for this sort of thing. Even though he has his sword and boomerang, he'll show up holding a pair of fans. ~~Don't make fun, they're badass.~~]

Nami, you alright out here?

[Well, she has a shallow gash on one arm, but certainly nothing slowing her down, and she's just sending a whole bunch of fist-sized balls of electricity through the air for the purposes of butterfly frying.]

Doing pretty good, actually. [...dude, you have fans. What.] What are those for?

[Lightning balls. Well he knew she had some kind of power like that, but he didn't know she could use them like that. Huh. As for Sokka, he looks like he's seen his fair share. He has a few scrapes on his face from avoiding being bitten, a few bites on his arm, one that hasn't been properly bandaged yet, and at this point most of his hair isn't even in his 'wolf tail' anymore.]

... killing butterflies. [Yes. He knows how it looks. Oh the humiliation.] ... they've been working better than my sword and boomerang.

[Well, she's the queen of silly looking weapons. Did you know the climatact once performed magic tricks? ~~And Usopp was beaten senseless as a result~~ So she's not gonna point or laugh, but wait to see what they do out of sheer curiosity. And also, stating the obvious:]

You look a mess. Need a hand with that?

Huh? [He takes a moment and realizes that, ah yes, he's bleeding and not doing anything about it. He probably should.]

I can handle it. [He manages to rip off some of his pant leg and tries to bandage his arm with one hand and his teeth, but he's not having a great deal of luck doing so.]

Pfft, give me that. [Taking this short breathing space to do something about that arm of yours :| She's used to giving field bandages at least.] Just let me know if a butterfly's about to chew on the back of my head or something.

[Fiiiiine. He'll give in and let her have his arm. Just gonna ignore the fact he's being treated by a pretty ~~and well endowed~~ older girl. That's no big deal at all. Well since the butterflies have let up for the moment, time to distract himself.]

So... balls of lightning. I didn't know you could do that.

[Grin.] Comes in handy at times like these. [She'd offer to heal this with Nala's magic, actually, but she's not sure she'd have the concentration for it here. So, firm bandaging it is.] How's the rest of your household going?

[She'll let go of your arm in a sec.]

[Another time perhaps. Besides, he can live with bandages, even if they do slow him down a bit. He'll be glad to have his arm free again, though.]

Katara and Roku are fine and I'm sure Zuko and Toph can take care of themselves. What about your place?

Full of animals.

[Powering up the end of her weapon with a crackle, before she adds:] Apart from that, untouched.

Full of- [Pause. Oh right.] I tried to talk him out of it.

[Well, here comes another few of those little buggers. He whips those fans out and takes a stance.]

Luffy's hard to talk out of things. [Said with that all-suffering air of yeah well, what can you do.] You tried, at least.

[And commence tasering nearby, though she's keeping an eye on Sokka, because lord she is curious about what he's going to do.]

[Well... that's Luffy for you. Once those things start swarming in though, Sokka goes into action. The nice things about these fans is how easy they are to open and fold. When they're open, it's easy to bat the things around into the right place. When they're closed... well, it's almost like knife fighting. Slicing them up isn't too hard at all. It's not quite what Suki taught him to do, but it's effective enough against these things.]

[She's never seen someone fight with tessen before. It distracts her for a few seconds, but once she sees Sokka is doing just fine with them (...so odd, but effective), she turns back to her own job. She doesn't have pinpoint accuracy with her weapon, but she has the benefit of speed - if she doesn't hit a butterfly with the first attempt she'll definitely hit it with the second.]

[If only Suki was around, she'd show you how it was really done. Regardless, Sokka is able to keep this up, despite being exhausted and drenched at this point. Of all days for it to be raining.]

Trees last week, bugs this week. What do you think we'll get next week?

You know, I was just talking to Raven about this very same thing. His bet's on evil snowmen. [Not anywhere near as tired as Sokka for she hasn't been running all over the village. Therefore, keeping an eye on the exhausted one :|]

... I think I could handle evil snowmen. At least they won't be on fire. Or flying.

True. Might wake up with a cold the next day, though.

[Fizzle. Die, butterfly, die.]

I still have my coat. And I'll just make sure I have plenty of fuel for my flamethrowers. [He's probably going to get a cold from fighting in the rain. And there he goes, snapping another butterfly in two.]

[At this rate, half of Luceti will come down with a cold.] That works. No flamethrowers today though?

I ran out of fuel in both of them. Didn't have time to restock. [During one of his attacks, his fan comes lose as a butterfly nearly gets to bite his hand. Sokka swats it away and quickly replaces the lost weapon with his sword.]

[Well, as long as you have a weapon.] Pity. Fire works especially well, I hear.
