Sokka the 24th - [Action]

[Today Sokka has excused himself from work, because really, Edward is a frigging beast and he's not too happy about the new couch just yet, so hanging out here with nothing to do is kind of pointless. So today he's working hard on one of his other, more important projects. Namely, building a few more canoes, now that he's determined the prototype to be perfectly safe. So Sokka is over beside House 56 (facing House 57 and the road to the barracks), sawing the wood for the second canoe in his 'fleet'.

If you're one of the people who agreed to help him, feel free to already be there doing so. Or if you just happen to be out and about in this obscure part of Luceti, feel free to gawk.]

The Duke's at that age where it looks okay. But if he keeps at it when he's like you n' me, I might need a word with him.

When he's our age, it might actually fit.

They joined up with us and fought on the Day of Black Sun. Just thought you might want to know they were fine without you.

'course they would be! [There's a hint of pride in his tone.] We're all 'bout teamwork and takin' care of each other, but also able to fend for ourselves. It's just good to know the Fire Nation didn't catch 'em.

Well, Pipsqueak spent some time in a Fire Nation prison, but he seemed to be fine when he was let out after the war.

It's why ya gotta have some faith in us Freedom Fighters. We can handle anythin' that's thrown at us.

That wasn't the case when you put Pipsqueak and Smellerbee up against me.

... not really. [Except he does.] But these canoes are meant for the village to use. What's your interest in them?

What makes ya think I've got some trick goin' on? [Scoff.] Hand me that hammer.

Because you're you. I'm not sure if your less trustworthy with or without a piece of grass in your mouth. [But he relents and hands over a hammer.]

[IT'S HAMMER TIME] There's not much I can do with a half-built canoe, stupid.

Yeah, maybe. [He gets back to sawing.]

... so, I guess you and Longshot probably found somewhere to live by now.

[Hammer hammer hammer.]

Eh. Sorta, I guess. We kinda just wander around. Don't need a house.
