Wang Fire - [Action]

[Today is a special day. The plaza, though still with a good amount of snow on the ground, is one of those places in the village where enough shoveling and foot traffic has removed most of the snow. Therefor somebody who was absolutely not Sokka saw an opportunity. By noon, a small one-person booth had been set up in front of the fountain. A sign above it reads "FREE ADVICE".

Sitting at the booth is a particularly distinguished looking Fire Nation man twirling his manly mustache and stroking a very refined beard. He certainly seems to know what he's talking about and he's casually greeting people as they go by in that deep, almost booming voice of his. Having stress? Don't know how to deal with your feelings? In love with someone but they don't know it?

Wang Fire is your man and his Free Advice Booth is open.]

[...!! Finally, a breakthrough in her quest! Charlotte takes this moment to reach into her coat pocket and pull out her journal. She rips out a piece of paper and starts to take notes on all this. Must be good info, right? This guy looks reputable]

...Wow. That's easier than I thought...

Sounds good to me. [ This tone is casual as ever, but the laugh to his voice is gone: ] ...well, say you went behind a friend's back, and it nearly got him hurt. But you don't know how to tell him 'bout it.

See you another time, then, Lucy.

Ahahaha. I see. Well, that is pretty much the advice I've received so far. I'm not sure if I'll take it under advisement just yet - you understand.

Is it a one-question-per-session sort of arrangement, or may I continue?

hence the lol!

I have a roommate who is quite messy. How can I keep him from leaving beer cans around (and using those beer cans as ash trays) without breaking his arm as a reminder?

[identity profile] monocled.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
That seems like it could get rather noisy rather fast.

[ thoughtful ]

And I wouldn't be able to recycle the cans with a layer of skin on them...

Hey, that's one approach. And if he finds out some other way? [ Raised eyebrow. ]

[Terra shakes her head.]

No...not that he isn't a problem, too. I mean Kefka.

That was an unfair question, wasn't it? There really isn't a good solution, unless you know of some way to keep him restrained that will last.

I can think of something else to ask....

[She perks up a little at that.]

You're planning something? Will this happen soon?

[identity profile] monocled.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Now there's an idea. I generally prefer the harder stuff, though. Besides, if there's no beer at home he'll just go out and drink it, and that creates all other kinds of messes...

[How does one stop people from trying to beat them to a pulp and/or kill them on a regular basis?]

Well you see, I've been trying to lose weight. I've been packing on far too many pounds for my liking since the holidays, but it's a bit difficult to work them off with the excellent chef our crew has.
