[The knock on the door goes unanswered at first. Sanji has secluded himself to his room after Nami's kidnapping, coming out only for personal matters that refused to wait and grab himself an apple. He hasn't cooked for his crew at all, a personal failure that he should give more a damn about than he does.

It's on his way to the kitchen that he hears the knock, and seeing how it's turning into an icy hell out there...]

Who the hell could that be? [damn it, he's not in the mood to entertain guests. Sanji opens the door, slightly peeved, but his expression clears when he notices it's Sokka wrapped up in that getup]

Oi, why are you walking out in this shit storm? [moves to the side so he can enter]

[Sokka will be entirely grateful for being allowed in. After shaking the snow off his clothes and boots. The storm had gotten a lot worse on the trip there and by the time he had reached he halfway point, he had almost considered going home, but decided not to.

Once inside, he pulls off his hood and turns to Sanji with a huge smile.] I've got a plan!

... Really. [inward sigh. Sanji already knows he's not going to allow Sokka to go back out in that storm, so he straightens and schools his expression. Follow him to the living room, kid]

Alright, about what?

[Sokka follows, probably tracking snow in, but whatever. At home he lived in a snow house, so why should you care about tracking snow into snow?]

What else? How to beat Yuber! And better yet, how to do it and not kill him!

[... YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES, INGRATE] Oi! Don't track snow into my hous--

[whoa, just a minute]

... You've got a plan already? [color Sanji impressed.]

Well I am the plan guy. The Avatar didn't just keep me around for my good looks, after all.

Not a fuckin clue who that is.

[Sokka will start rambling on about all of that. Feel free to interrupt him at any point in this long tirade, otherwise he'll keep going.]

Oh, well you see the the Avatar is an important guy in our world who is all about keeping the balance between the four nations. Except the last Avatar was betrayed by the Fire Lord and killed so the next one would be Aang in the Air Nomads, but then the Fire Nation invaded and he got frozen in ice and spent a hundred years like that. But then me and my sister (that's Katara) found him and even though I thought he was a goofy kid at first, I started to like him and consider him a friend. So we all set out together to help Aang master all four elements so he could stop the Fire Lord, but we were hunted by the exiled prince of the Fire Nation named Zuko, though later he would become our friend. Our journey led us first to Kyoshi Island where I would meet my future girlfriend Suki, though only after she beat me up because I was kind of a jerk back then. But we made up and afterwards we headed deeper in the Earth Kingdom, where we met this guy named Haru whose father was a prisoner. But now Haru and his dad are free and Haru even has a mustache, which I think looks pretty good and I was thinking of growing one myself, but I'm not sure how good it would look on me so I've been keeping up on shaving anyways.

[He glances out the window.]

I was kind of worried about that... But I figured this was important enough that I had to come over right away before... something happens. [But now his stomach is grumbling.] What have you got to eat?

It's fine, I appreciate you coming over.

And whatever you're in the mood for. I'll take a request if you've got one. [being a chef for Luffy means Sanji stocks up constantly.]

Anything with meat!

Yeah yeah, Alright. I've heard that shitty line before.

[turns to the kitchen to whip up some hearty soup or something, with plenty of meat as per request]

You can explain some of the details of your plan while I'm cooking.

[He would have asked for Sea Prune Stew, but there's no sea prunes around. He takes a seat in the kitchen.]

Well, the way I see it, the problem with Yuber is twofold. First of all, he can teleport, so he's very hard to kill. But even if you do kill him, he can come back. Worse than that, he'll come back and know how you tricked him last time and be even harder to kill. So what we need is a place there Yuber can't teleport... and make it so we don't have to kill him.

I follow you so far. [actually, there's something Sokka might not know about deaths here, but he'll keep it to himself for now.]

Hey, you like seafood at all? Or does that not count as meat in your book?

Are you kidding? I'm from the South Pole, we practically live on seafood! [He's vaguely aware of the death penalties, but in his opinion, alive is still alive.]

Uh, anyways... where was I? Right. So it turns out there's a place around here in Luceti where anything I can't do, no one else can either. The tunnels! All we have to do is lure him down there (that's the 2nd phase of the plan) and BAM! We ambush him, fight him back into the right spot and... CLANK! We'll have him behind bars where he can't hurt anyone.

[smirks at that] Good. Then you'll enjoy the bisque I made earlier. [pulls out a pot]

So he can't teleport out of there?

If I can't teleport, than neither can he! Everyone is just regular down there, which gives the advantage to... regular guys like me!

How did you find out about the tunnels? Tch, How the hell can it even nullify a person's powers like that?

I wonder if Nami-san knows about this.

I found out from Vyse. He's been here about two years, said he was around when the tunnels were first discovered. I wanted to take Toph down there, but when I found out she wouldn't be able to bend down there, I was going to forget about it. Then this morning... it hit me!

I'm not sure how it works, but there were conditions back home where bending powers could be lost. My guess is that there's something in there that is able to find the source of a person's power and... somehow block it. Like chi blocking, but automatic.

[for the first time since Sokka came in, Sanji starts to look a little excited]

Sokka... you might be on to something. [he's reheating the soup, an action that takes little effort, and so he's free to ponder this more]

How about physical strength? Is that left untouched?

We'll have to go down there and make sure. Do you know anybody that's super strong?

Actually, on that note, we need to find people who are really good fighters, but don't have any special abilities. I'm pretty handy with my sword, but I'd rather have someone really good down there, know what I mean?

Depending on how it effects his rubber skills, Luffy will insist on being there, too.

Well... we still have a while to figure the other details out of who will be there. After all, it might take me a while to get everything together for the prison bars. And then we'll have to get them down there with no one noticing.

Sneaking them in shouldn't be too hard, as long as not many people go near them.

Where are these tunnels, anyway?

There should be a way in somewhere in the plaza. I don't think it should be too hard to find. It also means it won't be too far from the smithy, so that'll make things easier.
