Sokka the 7th | [Action]

[You might notice something unusual today. The smithy now has smoke rising from it once again. If you go inside, you'll find Sokka inside, working on various items with one hand while holding a yellow book entitled "Smithing For Dummies" in the other. A few other books about smithing and metallurgy in general are scattered about as well.

If you caught Sokka earlier in the day, you would've seen him dragging a large amount of weapons back to the smithy, all of which he had previously purloined at the weapon shop when he arrived. He'll also be attempting to drag a few couches from the furniture shop towards the smithy too, so feel free to help him out.]

[Wassup with all this going on? Link can't help but notice and follow along curiously. A guy dragging around furniture was quite a sight, you know.]

[Oh look, Sokka is doing something involving physical labor. This should be fun to watch. What, don't look at Nash like that, he can't help lift things because he's old.]

[Sokka is busy grunting and pulling, but he'll stop long enough to look at the weird kid with pointy ears.]

Moving furniture, obviously.

[Sokka sees the old man being his usual unhelpful self. He whirls around on him.]

Just keep watching! Sure!

Fine, fine. I guess I can help, even though it will be an awful strain on my back.

[He makes a big show of walking over, tossing his arms up in the air, etc. But he doesn't seem to have any trouble holding up one end of the couch.]

Oh, thanks. You sure this won't break your back? [Sokka is now moving a bit more quickly in a direction that's not his house. In fact, he's headed to the smithy.]

We'll find out together, won't we? [And Sokka is free to lead the couch wherever he pleases. Nash will comment on the destination when they get there. After all that arduous lifting!]

[Elisa sets a hand on one of the couches being moved, a disapproving look on her face.]

What do you think you're doing?

[Sokka kicks open the door to the smithy as they arrive and they finally set down the seat.] There, perfect! [Sokka sits down on the couch.]

[Sokka just shrugs.] Making it comfortable. What's wrong with that?

[Smoke rising from the chimney! Eddie must've come back! Or so Lymle thinks.

So don't mind it when a little girl comes shuffle-running into the store, stopping, and. Well. Staring |:]

[Sokka doesn't seem to notice, because he's busy working on what appears to be a knife. Lym might notice that the shop is straightened up, courtesy of Elisa, and also now has couches for sitting on.]

That's an awful long way to go just to sit down.

Unless you need a weapon made and don't want to go home... so you can wait, instead.

Big question. A sword, but not a normal one. It'll be easier to explain if you've got paper lying around.

Oh really? [Sokka digs around and in a bit he'll have a paper and pen.] How about it, then?

[Yep, she notices all that. So, after staring a bit to try and figure out why there's some random guy doing work in the shop, she walks over to a couch and decides to sit for a while.

... She'll just watch him work for lack of better things to do in the mean time.]

[Eventually after putting some metal down to cool in a barrel of water, he suddenly notices her. A customer!]

Oh, hey. Welcome to the uh... smithy. What can I do for you?

[Nash takes them, and finds a table, where he spends several minutes drawing out fairly neat schematics for his chainswordidekwhat weapon, minus the curse. The figures are fairly detailed, but it's still a nonsensical weapon that seems extremely difficult to wield effectively, and pretty difficult to forge. But he'll show Sokka the paper, anyway.]

[Oh, noticed! With that, she gets off the couch and nods.]

Did Eddie come back?

[Sokka watches as Nash draws it, looking extremely intrigued as the design becomes increasingly complicated. When it's done, he takes the paper and turns it over a few times to try and understand it.]

Well... this could take awhile. I've never seen anything like this.
