Background: Another alternate universe counterpart, female Sokka's life is similar to her normal canon counterpart. Growing up, she rebelled against Water Tribe gender roles and the idea she should stay in the village and not be out hunting and fighting. She was quite the tomboy and very close to her father, to the point she actually did learn some fighting from him. However when he left to fight in the war, she was left behind because it was her place to stay at home and tend to the old and young. She refused to do this and trained hard to become a warrior, even though ultimately she found out that her skill did not match her determination.
Much of her journey with the Avatar is the same as Sokka's. She become a Kyoshi Warrior early on and was very close to Suki, although they didn't come to realize their feelings for each other until Serpent's Pass. In the North Pole, Sokka was not as close to Yue, although she hated Hahn who scoffed at the idea of a female warrior. Personality-wise, she is similar to Sokka, although generally more upbeat and a little more flirtatious. One noticeable difference is that she has no real talent with boomerangs, since she never received one as a gift from her father.
