Steaks are delicious. Not bat stealks though; too tiny. Though I hear if you get enough of them together with the right seasoning thr can be quite the delicacy.

Well...the TARDIS generates a perception filter with the help of its chameleon circuit, but it helps that...well basically it's a controlled demensional space. The inside is acting in the 4th dimension while the outside, your dimension is acting in the 3rd. Contain that, and you get the TARDIS.

To blend in! That's the genius of this beauty. 1950's style police call-box: inconspicuous and handy all in one. Besides, it would look awfully odd if it were red.
