A blind girl and powerful earthbender. She was recruited to the gaang to be Aang's earthbending teacher. Although she usually mocks Sokka, the two of them get along well. By now, Sokka considers her to be like a younger sister. Or brother. Whichever.
She's been in Luceti three different times since Sokka has been around. Each time she has forgotten her previous experiences. She is currently unaware that Sokka spent his first Love Experiment with her. He is consequently aware of her crush on him, though it's no longer practical given their increased age gap.
Things are strained after she bailed him out of a dream caused by a Shifter. She was given sight during it, a fact that not many know about. The two of them don't agree on how to handle the future of their world and their experiences in Luceti.
Sokka finds her earthbending and metalbending skills to be incredibly cool. Though he tries to downplay it now that he's older, he remains her number one fan.
