Fourth Wall (Multiple Character Post)

[Even though many of these people are currently away on missions, somehow they manage to end up in Luceti in their old haunts, unaware that they shouldn't be around.

Sokka is in the smithy, doing his usual work. Kurt Wagner is hanging out in the Rec Center, kicking back to play games. Ling Yao is on the roof of a building watching all the new people in amusement. Ganondorf is short on patience and makes his way on horseback to the mountains until this is all over. Arthur is absolutely puzzled, having had no experience with experiments, and is looking for anyone familiar in the crowd.]

A year? Sokka... I- I haven't seen you in nearly two. How can we be engaged?

... this isn't funny Suki. [He takes her by the shoulders firmly.] The Malnosso just did something to your head, okay? You'll be fine. In a few days you'll remember everything.

["You have to."]

No one has messed with my head. [She takes a step back from him.] I don't think I'm your Suki.

Of course you're my Suki. How could you not be? This is just temporary, that's all.

I'm clearly not, if we're not engaged.

Here. [She pulls up her sleeves to show him the burn scars on her forearm.] Does your Suki have these? Or this? [She lifts up her chin to show the scar on her neck.]

I wish I was your Suki, but I'm not. I'm sorry.

[markofthewise]

[He winces a bit at the scars. Sure, anyone on a draft has a few of those to show off, but those aren't familiar ones.]

... if you're not my Suki, then who are you? Another universe where... we don't get together?

I guess not. And, it's more like, I've been trapped in a place for over a year, so I haven't seen you. I'm sure we would've been together if you were there.

I guess. So uh. Where exactly is it you think you're from now? [Cuz he's just figuring Suki has been replaced by... some other Suki.]

It's a Facility. We're put through experiments every week.

[markofthewise]

Every week? That must get old... And what kind of name is 'Facility'?

Not really. They're in place to break us.

But, where are we? I mean, I don't have my collar, so I guess I'm not there anymore.

Well. It's Luceti. Run by the Malnosso. I guess they don't use the collars where they're... keeping you. [Which makes no sense to him, frankly.]
