Appointments Post

This post is for threading with Sokka anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with him for personal conversations.

[He's just calling it like it is, Sokka. Don't mind him starting to fiddle with a few of the things around--just inspecting some metal plates and weapons out on a table.

...Yeah, he can do better than that.]

[After a bit, Sokka closes the journal.]

Okay, follow me. It's back in her work area. [He'll just casually lead the way now, away from the weapon display and into the back area where the magic happens.]

[Oh. How thrilling.

Though he is interested in seeing a little bit more of what goes on here. He follows Sokka back--slowly--to closely inspect the equipment as they go.]

Is there a whole team of you kiddos here, then? Hope you aren't the only ones arming the residents here.

There's four of us. I'm in charge, I guess. Then there's Winry, Edward, and Hiccup - he's new. Sometimes other people come in and make stuff, but the four of us are here most of the time and take commissions.

[And here's Winry's space! He slides one of the drawers open and carefully begins to slide out a spare arm.]

You're in charge. Oh, good. You're like, what, fourteen?

[He has more to say about this, but luckily for Sokka, the arm he's pulling out is distracting enough to grab Tony's attention.]

Okay, yeah, that's definitely new.

Seventeen.

[Sokka sets it on the table and just watches Tony with an unimpressed expression. He definitely does not like this guy.]

Welp, fooled me. You wear it well, by the way.

[You know, he's been getting that reaction a lot. But this is like--well, not quite Christmas, but almost. He picks the arm up.]

Thanks. [A pause and-] Try not to break it, okay?

[He'll consider this thoughtfully. Or, you know, at least pretend to.]

Yeah, okay--no promises, Junior. Got to test it somehow.

Yeah well unless you're planning to lose an arm, you won't be able to do that much.

Well, that's not in the plan, but you know, I'm pretty resourceful. I can probably, um, figure something out. Just a little something. Just a bit.

Well, by all means. [He'll just wait to see what Tony can do.]

[Oh, you just wait, Sokka. You just wait.]

Welp, you've been a real help, Ponytail. Maybe I'll stop by sometime and, um, look at your work. [AKA judge harshly and ridicule.] Just for you.

Oh joy. I'll be so looking forward to that. [Maybe he can get a lock.]

Good! You should. See, I'm pretty good--[He hoists the arm over his shoulder and starts heading back towards the front.]--at what I do.

Whoa whoa, you're taking it with you?

Oh, no, I don't know why you'd get an idea like that. I just want to see what it was like to carry around. And to be carried to my place. To deconstruct.

[Urgh. And Winry had confirmed that this guy was supposed to look at it.]

And reconstruct, I hope.

Sure, sure. Whatever will make you feel all warm and happy inside, Ponytail.

Sokka. [Just get out of here, old man.]

I think you have something caught in your throat, there.

[But he heads towards the door. He's got things to do.]
