[Well, there it stands in all its glory. Sokka has the journal camera facing away from him, showing off his new boat, that looks like this (or like this when full mast), sitting out in the water. For a lack of other vessels, two canoes are hoisted and secured on either side, those being the Aila and Maza respectively. On both sides of the ship is painted something like this (only less lazy and technically saying '海洋精神' but this is Luceti okay). After getting a good view of the waves crashing on it, Sokka turns the journal back around to himself.]

So there it is, The Ocean Spirit, it's finally finished. All thanks to Brave Vesperia and other people. So... yeah, thanks everyone. Good job. We'll have its maiden voyage soon. Speaking of which - Hey Toph, you mind coming out here and making a dock? It would be... well, a lot more convenient.

Anybody who wants to come out and check it out, just use the teleporter in the barracks. I'll be out here on the beach for awhile.

[END transmission. He'll be there for most of the day, until the evening when he heads home for the usual dinner time.]

Even though she still thinks teleporters are kind of weird, they do make a trip to the beach very quick. And it's so conveniently located!]

[She is going to end up crawling all over this thing like the deckmonkey her daddy raised her to be ;;]

[Good thing Toph got the dock already done, huh? Because Sokka is in the middle of securing it with rope when she shows up.]

Sure is. Not too bad, huh?

Wow, it looks great!

[Jumping off the dock now and forming some solid water under her feet, Katara bends her way over to inspect the ship from all sides.]

[Jeez, way to be a show off. Sokka shakes his head and starts climbing the ladder up.]

I had to work off memory for the ships back home, but it's close enough.

[That is not showing off. Using the water to turn into a sprout so that she can leap onto the bow? Maybe a little showing off. But mostly, it's just because she's very excited.]

It seems a little smaller, she's still a beauty.

[Smaller? Is it smaller. Sokka starts walking from one side to the other, measuring it with his feet. That IS less steps. Then again, these aren't the boots he came to Luceti in.]

Maybe you're just bigger.

[Shrug] Maybe.

So - the Ocean Spirit, huh?

[Not naming them after girls anymore?]

Sure, why not? Moon Spirit would've been redundant.

[... though he probably would've used it if Yue hadn't shown up.]

Isn't the Ocean Spirit traditionally male?

[She said, to tease him about his new sensitivity like a good sister.]

Yeah? So. It's not like all ships need girl names.

[And it's a BIGGER and STRONGER boat. So why not be a guy, obv.]

And here I thought it was tradition.

Hey, if you don't like the name, I hear Jack has a really nice boat now.

Who? [And then she rolls her eyes.]

Anyway, there's more to a boat than a name, Sokka.

[And off she goes to inspect every inch of it. >8D]

I know that. [He'll watch her do that a bit, before going back to tying one of the masts down.]

Once things are normal-ish at home, we can all go out. [So when Zuko isn't being whiny... and Yue is back, basically.]

She glances at him, all eager.]

Don't you want to take it out for a test run before that?

[Well... now that she mentions it.]

... there's only two of us, but I think we can manage it, if we avoid the icebergs. Or... rocks. [Not that there's any of those, but hey.]

[She glances around and notes the distinct lack of icebergs. Or rocks.]

I think we'll be all right.

Well in that case...

[He goes to the side of the boat and starts undoing the lines holding them there. Once he has, he turns to her.]

Ready the sails! You remember how to do that, right?

Oh, I think I can manage.

[There are some things you just don't forget. Like swimming. Or breathing. And she goes to comply.]

Alright, ready the main sail!

[He moves to the rudder, but pauses to consider.]

... a little push to get us out to sea couldn't hurt either. [Hey, if you got a waterbending sister, might as well make her useful.]

One thing at a time, Captain.

[First, she raises the sail...]

[He draws in the anchor and gets into position, giving her a nod to cast off.]
