[Today a not-so-unfamiliar face returns to Luceti. He is by no means happy about being here, stuck as he in a pair of New Feather pants. His old stuff? Doesn't quite fit. After all, it was clothes for a seventeen year old, not a nine year old. Maybe this 'little kid' would be happier about this if not for the fact he wasn't a mere four foot six just a week ago. He wears the indignant face of someone not at all content about being so short. He is not a happy little kid.

After waking up behind one of the stores, he goes to the clothing store first to put something on, going to the oft-neglected kid's section of the store. As it turns out, there's not many little boys in Luceti. At least not his current age. Refusing to wear girl clothing, he opts for an oversized tunic and pair of shorts that he secures with a belt. It looks even more ridiculous than the alternative. After that, he'll be on his way to House 56. After letting his housemates know he is home (and finding out about a new arrival), he decides that a mallynapping isn't going to stop him, so he heads to the smithy later to try and get work done. He may drop in on school for at least one class today, because he's trying his best to pretend this is all normal.

At some point in the day he leaves a written message, cautious to keep away from the view screen.]

Sokka here. I'm back from another kidnapping. So if you need anything at the smithy or anything, let me know. I'll get it done.

[Suki's cleaning up her room when Sokka comes home, so she's oblivious and sort of lost in the job- she sort of got distracted while cleaning and carefully maintaining the original Avatar Kyoshi uniform hanging on the wall in her room.]

[Edward's in the smithy at some point too, working away at some ongoing projects. Small children in the back room forge are Not Allowed. 8|]

[Okita is heading out to the Welcome Center when he passes by a familiar child. He pauses and takes a step back, tilting his head.]

....Sokka-kun?

[Meanwhile, Katara starts making herself 'useful' and sorting through the discarded clothing to see what could be easily altered into more masculine wear.]

You don't mind wearing pink, right?

[Because this dress is totally alterable. She promises she will take off the frills and the rose stuck to it - but it's good sturdy material and about the right width.]

[It wasn't leering, it was admiring.]

Thank's Sokka. The Malnosso haven't been giving you the short end of the stick too much since I left, have they~?

[Ahh, there we go. Like a massive weight lifted off his chest.]

[When Sokka makes it into class (and after noticing his note, of course) Raine will just wait until the end of class to approach him. It's fairly obvious that this was just a physical and not a mental change, or perhaps he wouldn't even be here. And by the look of it just trying to go about his usual schedule. Somehow completely unsurprising.]

[ Picking yourself up an observer at some point, tiny-Sokka. There really aren't a lot of younger kids in this place, after all, and Smellerbee's not much for ignoring curiosity.

Especially when she's bored. ]

[Yeah, so loving the nicknames. He hides his flustered cheeks (which he doesn't need to...) in the bright light and cold air of the fridge. Okay so... soda, yeah. That'll make him feel better.]

Usually when they turn people into kids, they act like it too.

[Like being a little kid is gonna stop him from seeing his girlfriend. Clearly she'll be the one person not to give him a hard time, right?

So he gives a knock knock on her door.]

[To bad, because this one is walking past you with an unfinished blade to start shaping the edge. Seeing as he's not too strong, he's kind of just dragging the blade along the ground. Loudly.]

Look, your choices are pink, yellow, or purple - and I think this pink dress will be easiest to alter!

[And she hands over her knife without thinking twice. What, they were using knives under supervision at this age.]

[Well he can just tell this will end well. When he hears Souji, he turns and gives the usual bow.]

Uh, hi Master Souji.

None of the above! [A moment to notice the knife is bigger than he remembers it, before he starts making a new hold in the belt.]

If it's too much work, I'll alter the bigger stuff myself.

[The best. Okita bows his head back and then smiles, bending his knees to get down more on Sokka's new level.]

You? [She starts laughing.] You can't even sew a hole in your pants!

[Well, so much for slipping out unnoticed after class. Oh well. Maybe he can find out what he missed the past week. When she approaches, he just stands there a bit sheepishly.]
