[Sokka's day will involve a few things. One of them won't include shoveling all the snow out of the way of his house. It's not that he's lazy, but when his sister can take care of that in less than a minute, why even bother? Later his day will involve working on important things at the smithy, like the metal casing for a certain teleporter. And maybe some weapons or the key-shaped variety. Or helping New Feathers find their weapons so they can go about being dangerous. He'll also do lunch in the plaza... maybe do some shopping.

But why dwell on the bad parts? Before his kidnapping, Sokka is available for running into. Also, in light of the fact the snow is coming down pretty hardcore today and is, frankly, almost a blizzard, he feels inclined to make a voice post in the middle of the day.]

You know, we had that big blizzard about the same time last year. Well, not big big. I've seen bigger. But we had a lot of people get stranded out in that stuff. Actually, I met a lot of people being stranded at the Straw Hat's place... Uh, anyway. Yeah, blizzards. Bad stuff. Better make sure you got a lot of food at home, just in case.

[Hours later, on his way home, he'll meet some delightful metal men who will proceed to knock him out and drag him off, being nice enough to leave his sword and boomerang in the snow.]

Well... okay. Let's see, you arrived her around the same time as me in December. Not last December, the one before. You were brainwashed into being evil and had a really phony smile. You also drained energy from people. But you got over that... somehow and lost all your memories of that. After that you started doing more hero stuff. You helped me out when I was captured in that rogue Malnosso facility. Then uh... you just kind of stayed in the village, doing whatever it is you usually do. That's pretty much it.

So I came here from the Dark Kingdom.

Yeeeeah, you kept mentioning that before. Still no idea what that is.

They were our enemies for awhile. But most of them became our comrades and helped us later on.

Well, that's always good. And you turned out fine... so uh, how long ago was all that?

Almost five years ago. [She could tell him to the very hour, but it's finally behind her now.]

So... they sent you home for five years!? So you must be... [Uh, how old was she originally? He doesn't actually know.]

[She came when she was fourteen doing a good job of working on fifteen, spent a year here, went back as 14 again for four years plus a bit, came back. So...]

Just so you know, I will be seventeen soon, so it's not like I'm that much younger.

I know. In a way, I sort of feel like you're still older anyway, since you're more used to it here.

Yeeeah, never actually came up. Since, you know, we were just friends, not friends friends. But I want to say Building Three?
