Sokka the 48th -- [Voice/Action]

[After being sent home in his own bed, Sokka had slept in a bit, finally had some real food and then went to see Suki. By now, he figures he should check to see how things went. Thus, he has a message to leave.]

Well that was a lousy week. How's everyone else doing? Did I miss anything?

Oh and uh. I think I might have to take the week off from the smithy. Maybe longer. That goes for training too.

[... yeah, that should do. He'll hang around town acting just a bit odd. For instance, very gently and very slowly opening the doors to shops. He doesn't bother going to the smithy. He's mainly just trying to stave off boredom due to the fact he really can't do much of anything now. Stupid Malnosso.]

The grocery store is closed.

[Now she knows that's not true.] I was just there not too long ago. There's no way it's closed.

[Selphie studies Sokka closely for a few moments.] Are you sure you're okay?

I'm fine. I just meant the door is closed.

[And he doesn't want to add to his special number of doors he's managed to rip off the hinges today.]

[He doesn't wanna break the door? She finally asks the question that she should've asked upon seeing Sokka.]

What'd they do to you?

Made it so I break doors. And, well, everything else.

[Super strength. Gotta love it.]

[That sounds different and it beats being blind right?]

You know... you could ask someone to open the doors for you if you're worried about breaking them.

Well, I would. But, it kind of sounds wimpy. "Hey, could you open this door for me?" It makes it sound like I'm super weak.

Asking for help doesn't make you weak.

Well, no. It's the whole, well, the thing about not being able to open it myself. When really, opening doors is really easy.

But the buildings rebuild themselves anyway which doesn't help things really but... maybe you could try opening them with a single finger. Or you ask someone to get you some stuff too. Like I'm about to offer to do if you're really hungry.

Well. Yeah... [The whole asking people to do things for him? He doesn't like that. He prefers to be the guy people ask for favors.] I can't train or work as it is. I don't want to be completely useless this entire time.

I bet there's some people who could use some help with some heavy lifting.

That's all good and well, but I can't control it. Sometimes I'm super strong. Other times I'm regular strong. I never know which one I'll be.

Hmmm... [Selphie taps her chin thoughtfully.]

You might just have to wait it out... It's a pain in the butt but it might be the only thing you can do.

This week is going to be so boring. I wasn't even supposed to get experimented on! I was only there for two days.

You could always keep an ear open for all the latest gossip? And be grateful they didn't make you blind for two weeks.

Yeah, I guess you're right. It could be worse.

Training, patrolling the village and the outskirts of the forest in case anybody needs help. Today though... grocery shopping!
