Sokka the 47th - [Voice/Action]

I guess that's it for the new people, unless it starts up again this month. Well, anyway, I'm Sokka. Or Sokka Thunderaxe as some have been known to call me. I'm fine with either one.

I run the smithy here in town, known as the Slash 'n Crash, along with Edward and Winry. They both work for me. [They don't, but this is some rather obvious trolling here.] So if you need any kind of weapons made, or sharpened, or you know... some other kind of odd job. I'm the go to guy for that. There isn't money, so... the stuff is free. But we do accept favors as payment! Or food. Or well, anything. Just ask for me, Sokka. That's with an okka. [Accept no substitutes.]

Sooooo. [A beat.] How did it go?

[For you action lovers out there, Sokka can be found at his usual haunts. School, the smithy, eating lunch in the plaza, or generally hanging out around his house.]

You know, I think you're right. He seems to express himself with glares and growls whenever I talk to him.

...Wow, that's a lot more than I figured! Don't think I've heard of any of 'em before! Thanks a lot, an' I'll be sure ta keep an eye out for 'em! I don't wanna wind up gettin' on the wrong person's bad side! [He vaguely remembers that two people named Yadaj and Kazoo went on some kind of rampage a couple of months ago, and hadn't been heard from since. However, now that he's heard the voice again, he also remembers that this guy gave him some information before which had been... less than helpful and resulted in him getting beaten up by a green light show. Probably just a coincidence, though.]

So why do people call ya Thunderaxe?

Oh, in that case, I think he likes you. Or despises you. It has to do with the ratio of glares to growls.

Well, hopefully you don't run into them. I don't know if that's up to date, though. People come and go all the time and nobody tells me!

[That was totally a coincidence, man. It's not his fault the Straw Hats moved.] It's because of my almost 'thunderous' supply of axes.

It's a joke, Edward. We're equal partners. Professor Raine even says so, in the guide. Let me read it:

"Slash and Crash: Currently maintained by Sokka, Edward, and associates, this is a shop that focuses on the forging of weaponry, among other craft items."

See? It's only Winry that works for us. We're co-owners.

[Nuh uh. Winry has been on a field trip for about a week now, Jack!]

How about... two days? If I'm not at the smithy, I'll have your name on it in the weapon room.

Right---I'll be by then, lad. Keep on forging your uncalculatable number of axes, boyo; they do you proud.

Of course. In fact, I'll make another one today. Maybe add lightning bolts to it or something.

Best axes in the world are made by the hands of Sokka Thunderaxe. Fact.

Well, I wouldn't want to go overboard... but yeah, probably.

Maybe. I suppose all we can do is just wait until then.

Of course not. Are you saying you've been called as such in confidence?

I'm saying you need a better name. Maybe something that sounds a little less uberbudget.

Oh, it was. I'd like to try it again some time, when the weather allows it.

Guess I haven't really had to pick up any new tools of the trade since before then.
