[See Sokka. See Suki. See Sokka and Suki ~~but fully dressed~~. Despite having friends going around dying, getting injured, or what have you, nothing will dampen his warrior spirit... at having his girlfriend around. Which is why he's called off work so he can spend the day with her ~~and show her off to the doubters~~. This means he'll be dragging her off to stores for ~shopping~ for whatever happens to look cool, interesting, or highly collectible. Or for lunch, eating at Seventh Heaven ~~at a seat by the window naturally~~.

Pity Suki as she is dragged all through town and maybe even a little outside of town by her over enthusiastic boyfriend. He means well, really. Before this, however, he leaves a message on the journals. One of superb importance not only for his fellow workers, but for his fighting instructors as well. And friends maybe. And people who might happen to be fans. It's been known to happen.]

I am taking the day off. Because I have someone way better than some old smithy. [Indeed, that's all he had to say. He's worked at the smithy every day for two weeks now, so he's ready for a break. And Suki is way better, so he's not just saying that.]

Yeah, mostly. It's getting cooler again, so it might be time to pick up some warmer clothes before the stores start swarming with people. [And... well, he likes looking for interesting stuff. Even if he can't bargain for stuff.]

I'm actually not used to cold weather, so I'll need some advice on what to get. Who better than someone who lived in the south pole?

Ah. I can understand that. Um... south pole? [Frey himself has never seen snow except from afar.]

Yeah, south pole. Southern most part of the world? Tends to be covered in ice? Your world has one, right? [He hasn't heard of any worlds not having one...]

I've never been there, but it sounds nothing I've ever seen before. How about you?

Um... closest I can think of is the mountains back home; and they're in the north part of Falena. [Though Falena is in the south.]

[Sokka thinks about that... weird. Okay, whatever.]

And neither of you have been in Luceti during the winter... well, suffice to say, there's just snow everywhere. Even our houses are made of snow. Sometimes we have snow-derived meals. A common mode of transportation is snow drifts. In the ancient days, we once fought the fierce armies of snowmen from the far, far south.

[Yes, at some he started making this stuff up, mostly to see if Frey would actually believe him. And maybe if Suki would too.]

Armies of snowmen?

.......Is "snowmen" the name you call the type of monsters around the South Pole? [Frey's kinda skeptical, but maybe it‘s yet another “other world” thing and it's not just snow sculptures.]

Oh yeah, of course. Very handy in a battle.

[She's not usually very good at joking - she'd be the first to admit that - but it's pretty easy to just follow Sokka's lead in this instance.]

Especially in a battle against Firebenders, I bet.

[And Frey....actually believes them.] Firebenders....?

Like my sister, only fire instead of water. There's a few of them that aren't bad, but there's also a lot of them that are just bad news.

We shouldn't worry about it much now, though, with the war being over.

[War? Oh... A look of understanding crosses Frey's face.] So it's like magic then.

And that's definitely a good thing.

Yeah, a very good thing. Once we're out of Luceti, we get to go home and settle down in a nice home back in the South Pole together.

Well yeah. I figured we'd visit a lot. It's not all that far.

[Well it's not like they're planning some sort of marriage proposal in front of Frey. Suki shrugs her shoulders.]

I guess visiting other places isn't a big deal with Appa around, as long as Aang's going with you.

[Frey just decides to stay quite. This is terribly awkward, considering.]
