[Time to do some pen pushing! Sokka is back at the smithy, on the couch, working through several filters, as well as adjusting the work schedule after discovering that Winry had apparently been kidnapped by the Malnosso. Just another thing to do.]

Attention White Lotus members! If you recall, Toph announced the formation of the group about a month ago to try and put together a loosely affiliated group of members who could be called upon in times of trouble. All of you should already have the tiles that Toph gave you. If you could just answer back with your name so we know who is in the group, that would be great.

To anyone who is Winry's friend, she was taken by the Malnosso from the smithy an hour ago.

I'm sure the Fire Nation must have hurt you to make you do something like that. And maybe you did reform. But if you decide that's not the case and you even try to touch Zuko, you'll have to do it through me first, got it?

[Longshot's starting to get just a little tired of having to tell you guys that he's not going to hurt him. And if he did, it would be because he's Lee. There's a short twitch of his fingers at the name that might give away his irritation.]

[Not looking away though. He gets the message]

But I doubt that's going to be a problem. But anyway, you should come visit more.

It was actually very helpful, in the end. I was having a pretty bad day until I had a long talk with her.

So, has anyone told you about the White Lotus yet?

Right. So the White Lotus was a group back in our world, composed of some of the masters of all the various disciplines. During the day of Sozin's Comet, Grandmaster Iroh - yeah, that's Zuko's uncle if you didn't know, gathered them all together and they liberated Ba Sing Se together.

Well Toph put together the White Lotus here in Luceti. It's not quite as secretive or exclusive... but basically it's a group of us dedicated to banding together and fighting against the likes of Yuber, Kefka, Aku, and other bad guys when they show up to hurt people. You might not have ever been a part of Team Avatar, but it'd be great if you joined our group.

[Bit of a deeper frown as he glances to the side. Yeah, he remembers Zuko's uncle. He hadn't heard he'd been among the people to liberate Ba Sing Se, and if it were anyone else telling him this, he'd be suspicious.]

[But that's not the matter at hand, so when Sokka brings up the list of bad guys he has Longshot's full attention once more, because he's at least interested here. He scratches at the back of his neck, hoping Sokka will explain just what he wants him to do.]

[What does that mean? Should he go on. Maybe.]

You really don't have to do much. We'd give you a tile and all that means is that if something happens, you'll be there to show up and fight. We might also call on you for other stuff, if it comes up. A lot of this is still in the planning stages.
