[Sokka is still sleeping comfortably, thanks in a large part to having arrived inside of a nice warm house. That is, he's sleeping on the floor of House 2 and somehow both snoring and drooling on his open journal. His usual clothes, which were nicely folded around him, have been unconsciously snatched at and thrown on top of him as a makeshift blanket. Naturally all that snoring is being transmitted by voice, as is a few other words...]

Hmmm... stop Momo... that's... vegetables!?

Regulations shmegulations! [Sokka hadn't thought about that, but it was kind of like cheating. Even so, he wasn't going to give up the advantage he had won himself. So he started to be more aggressive. He couldn't overpower Nash, but maybe he could cause him to slip up...]

This all true but uh, who do we invite?

Not very fond of doing things by the book? [ Nash's foot caught on a branch that was hidden beneath the snow. Ow. Now would be a good time to really press the advantage. ] It's a shame, since I just got out of one.

Technically no one ever gave me the book to read. [He tries a few more blows, this time taking a cue from Nash and this time swinging from the left instead.]

Did you ever ask for it? [He dodges the sword, but in the process falls over, so now he's just sitting in the snow.]

Hmmmm.

Should I have? [Sokka lowers his sword.]

Anyone and everyone. I'm liking where this is going.

[Mayoi is a bit groggy and somewhat angry. She was taking a nice nap like some people suggested to her, since she's sick and all, and this guy and his loud journal woke her up. So she opens the journal and begins to talk through it, hoping her voice will reach his ears]

Hey. Hey wake up.

So we're gonna need loads of food, then.

Hey, I'm up! Who is this?

Well I know where we can get it free!

I am Hachikuji Mayoi. And you woke me u-

Achoo!

[she sneezes through the journal]

Are you sick?

Of course not. I'm just sneezing to fool you of course. Why would you th-

Achoo!

Maybe you should be getting some sleep instead, don't you think?

Didn't you hear what I said to you just a little bit ago? I was sleeping. You woke me up!

Oh, that.

Well you were trying to wake me up. I guess that makes us even.

Even. So your idea of even is waking up a little girl with your snoring and vegetable talk?

That's pretty cruel of you.

Alright, let's stop talking about it and do this thing!

I'm not seeing how this is my fault. Why would you sleep next to a journal that people are constantly talking into?

[Sokka nods and they head to the grocery shop. Since there doesn't appear to anybody running it at the moment, he feels no shame in loading up as much food as he can into his arms.] Uh, anything you want?
