Alright, friends of Katara. This is me, Sokka. Her brother. You should already know that. She probably doesn't know it because let's face it, math is more of my thing but her birthday is coming up next month. On July 5th, no less. So if anyone wants to help out, I'm the guy to talk to. I'm thinking we should go all out on this. Something big. Something... yeah, just something big. With streamers. Stuff like that.

Uh, Regal. You think you could make a cake at the bakery? It needs to be big. Vanilla. Maybe bits of nuts on it. Not too sweet. But big. Really big. Maybe make it say "Katara" on it. And there should be candles in the shape of a fifteen. Or maybe fifteen candles? I'm not sure how that tradition works. Maybe it's fifteen tiny cakes...?

[He saved the BEST NEWS FOR LAST. After seeing an echo of Azula taunting him to the point of him punching her and she ended up not being real (and him falling through her and to the ground), he did some investigating and came to a pretty startling conclusion.]

I just want to make sure. Her birthday is actually on a different day back home, so she won't know it's coming.

You could bring some more food. Or help me set up a good party site. I'm not sure where we'll do it yet.

Have you thought about the hot springs as a possibility?

It's not a bad idea. It'd be hard to get everyone up there. And it's pretty far away...

I was thinking a "Sibling Nature Hike" would be a good cover for a Surprise Party.

Right. Because me and Katara do those all the time.

I guess there could probably be games. [It's in the middle of summer though. He doesn't know many traditional Water Tribe games that work that time of year.]
