Uh. Yeah. Sure. [He'll carefully set her on the ground so she doesn't hurt herself or anything.]

So. That was strange.

[Excuse her while she taps the ground with a foot to make sure it really is real once she's standing on her own. Huh. So it is.]

Too strange. I think I'm ready for this entire mess to end.

You're telling me. [Sokka slides up against the tree to sit down.] How long were you up there?

Not too long. I only climbed up there when the ground became lava.

[Said with a straight face, as if lava isn't strange at all.]

But I guess the ground I had been on isn't... around anymore.

[Sokka looks up at the sky. The weird, weird sky.]

Well, at least it's not raining lava. Which wouldn't surprise me at this point.

Don't give them any ideas. Can you imagine how the houses would handle a rain that could burn through them?

Well, I don't think they can hear us here. But yeah. It would basically kill all of us.

Maybe they can't, but the trees can.

[And they've been terribly chatty lately. :|]

It would... Have they done anything that dangerous before?

Well. Not them specifically. But an evil clown tried to destroy the village by lighting the trees on fire and throwing them at the town. So. That happened.

[With these talkative trees, he might feel okay about it.]

An evil clown.

[W-what.]

Well, that may be a little redundant. It's possible all clowns are evil. This one just had really powerful magic and a bad attitude.

I thought they were supposed to be funny... [Says the girl who's never been to a circus.] But why was he throwing trees at all? Was his attitude really that bad?

He was evil, Yun. That's what evil people do. They do evil things like throwing trees at people. Think of that as a life lesson.

That might be a little on the simple side of evil...

Well I never met the guy, but he struck me as being on the pretty simple side of evil.
